You're experiencing the symptom of a clogged carburetor. This video shows how to handle that.

Incredihly detailed. I removed my carbureteur gave it two sonic? ..no ultrasound! baths but could not remove emulsion tu be a nb didn't really see what you were doing -- just pressuring the top lever i mg the driver o m the side body? Thanks (bad keyboard old kindle! Sorry).

I don't understand what you're asking because that sentence is missing letters and doesn't make sense. I show, and explain how to get the emulsion tube out, starting at 7:18 on the video. It sounds like your carburetor is corroded to a level that it won't be cleanable, so you might get a much better result by replacing the carburetor, base gasket, and intake block with OEM parts.

Thanks for replying. As I said, I was writing on an old Kindle and the keyboard is faulty so for certain letters I often have to switch from portrait to landscape. It was 7:30-38 that interested me where I couldn't see really what you were pressing the screwdriver onto.
      But thanks again.

@@johncollins8304 I state in that portion of the video, that what will sometimes work to free the stuck emulsion tube is to use a screwdriver to press onto the top of them, and leverage the screwdriver against the top of the carburetor, and then I perform that action, and free the brass tube.

do you have a part number for those air cleaners? I need those. So, here is my question....my exmark 30 with same engine is pouring gas into the cylinder and hydro locking. Also seeing the gas in the air intake. Is that a needle valve float bowl issue? I found your channel becaouse Im looking into the problem. Thanks!

11029-0049 gets you the filter with the thick ring around the top.
And yes, you have a float needle that's leaking fuel into the carburetor and gravity feeding the fuel tank, right into the cylinder. My suggestion is to disassemble and clean the carburetor, and test the float needle after cleaning, and also to use our fuel shut-off valve if equipped. If the exmark doesn't come with the fuel shut-off, purchase and install one and consider installing a clear inline fuel filter if you don't have one.
Moving forward, I'd recommend treating your fuel year round, with SeaFoam, otherwise the issue will just re-appear in a few months, if not sooner.
      Thanks for watching!

Hey there Todd, thanks for posting this video.
It is certainly very informative and useful for making "DIY" repairs.
Since you make your own repairs, do you know if a Toro Shop Repair Manual is available for the Toro# 22297 & the 22298?
I have searched the internet but have not found one yet.
