As a roller coaster enthusiast, it is extremely unlikely that it breaks down like that, but if it does break down then this video is helpful
it happened to Demon at Six Flags Great America due to a broken wheel assembly but yeah it's incredibly rare

@@b-chroniumproductions3177That’s only 1 of 2 cases in which it actually got stuck on a vertical loop, so it’s rare but still indeed not impossible, though it’s so rare you shouldn’t worry about it at all really. What is impossible is a piece of track flying off though lol

yeah this rarely happens, mainly because theme parks don't wanna get sued out of their minds
For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.

If a ride gets stuck upside-down, the passengers will typically need to be evacuated from the ride. This is extremely rare, because gravity would normally cause the ride to either roll forwards or backwards through the loop based on weight distribution. Roller coaster trains are not powered (in nearly all cases), and rely solely on gravity to make it through the whole course. There are places on the ride with brakes that can stop the ride if needed, but once the issue has been cleared, the ride can continue from that point.

In most cases it can’t outside of extremely rare circumstances as there are no brakes upside with the exception of a few rides

I couldn't imagine the pain of having the blood rush to my head for 30 minutes though. I was litterly at BGW a few days ago and overheard some guy saying he didn't want to ride Finnegans Flyer (which does not go upside down) because of what happened on Atmosfear.
