I just signed up for a distrokid account today and uploaded some music without opting for the mixes enhanced versions. I have since subscribed to the Mixea service and now want to opt for the enhanced versions of everything I have uploaded prior to subscribing. I don’t see a way to do that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Mixea was perfect for me in the beginning, because it was so easy to understand. But what really bothers me, is the point you mentioned in your video regarding the eq curve. Especially when listening to the master on headphones can lead to a very thin sound, which by time will end up hurting your ears. Also mastering a full song can be challenging, as soon as you have some kind of dynamics happening. I had the most problems with reverse reverbs or reverbs in general, because at this point the master starts pumping and will eventually hurt the song.
Is your version mastered when you uploaded it. Meaning was the side that said orginal a non mastered version vs mastered version. And then the you mastered it and compared it to mixea?
Mixea did this earlier today: ruclips.net/p/OLAK5uy_nXj-cKuR5tQJ8Io7AzGh7NfPTEY0Mii8M&si=fj3uvLM_iXequ4np I just paid the $10.49 Because I lost the original tune in Cubase and only had a waveform to master from.
In most cases, I would call being louder and having more dynamic range the superior result.
Agreed!
Hey Tay!
Yours sounds wider! Love that, great work!
Thanks so much! 🤘

Thanks for checking out the video! I feel the same way.
All eq measuring software are not created equal. Be careful with that. Unfortunately you get what you pay for.

I have used Mixea in the past . I wasn't satisfied with it and currently use another mastering program . Interesting vid Thanks CAMCURSE .
Thanks for checking it out!🤘
I prefer Mixea - I generally prefer warmness instead of thickness - but thanks for the review and the test.
No problem!
Ignoring the masters, because I didn't put on headphones and listen closely... The song itself is pretty cool.
Thanks for checking out the video. 👍

Oh God, please put a warning on for that music. It was like torture to my whole being. Scared me.
lol
Is it any good? I don't care, I will not run anything using a subscription model. End of story.
The video answers that question. 👍
