how are you able to have other windows open like the mix, mine are all grayed out when I select sketch
You can have a Sketch project and a regular project open at the same time. You have to create them separately though.
Making the beat is at 8:08

Is there any way that you can incorperate AAX plugins into sketch ?
There doesn't look to be a way to do that. I think the idea is that you create within sketch and eventually get it into Pro Tools to mix it.

Anyone can put clips together. How does it work for real creating?
It's doesn't seem to do that. Seems pretty gay. Synthcell? Playcell? Not interested.
I'm imagine they are going to expand it overtime.
Its very far from Ableton live and got a long way to go s its still very basic.
It's a move in the right direction for Pro Tools. 👍
True I wish you that Cubase would come up with something like that.
I feel like Live is more of a performance tool, Sketch seems more like a songwriting and arranging tool, I'm gonna be playing around with sketch to write and arrange rock songs and see how it feels
Why don't you preview your loops while the track is playing? Kind of the point of this isn't it? Thanks for the video too of course!

Sketch is like the worst nightmare I have ever tried to use, back to the drawing board pt.
