Hopefully you read this brother, you got back to me b4 so I have faith. Lemme ask, what do you think would be the difference in an e-mastering session from a person? Besides being cheaper and the services like landr provides. I would imagine online (even with the edit buttons) its a preprogrammed set algorithm to master. Like every track that comes through gets done the same way. As opposed to human, where they can hear this or that and make adjustments. I might have already answered my question, but in todays world of online music and streaming, it doesnt seem as necessary anymore (quality wise) to use a human. Unless you have the funding and backing and all that. At least for beginning stages of getting out there. Im from the ol skool ways...trynna learn if these new skool ways are better or just more convenient. Btw, the guy I know, charges 40 a song and its good stuff. Your thoughts sir, or anybody for that matter...

wow. to my ear they all plump up the overall sound, but i feel like all of the amazing harmonics and touch dynamics that make this specific sound so killer get, i dunno, neutered just a bit. Your intro is just sick. I would need to play with them all a lot more for sure.

To my ears emastered seemed to be the one that made the most difference. They are now workinng on a new Engine (in BETA now) that seems to sound better, but still not perfect. I was hoping Cloudbounce could do a better job, but from the demo here, I don't think it did. Emastered has shown me a greater sense of fidelity.

Landr sounded amazing on high and open, at least in my headphones.

Hey Steve. The biggest obstacle in my playing is… “FAST DOWN PICKING”. I’m feeling frustrated but no less determined or committed to breaking through and mastering this technique. What’s the best way to go about getting some help from you? Thanks heaps.

That was very informative. Thank you. I was almost getting ready to pull the trigger on emastered since Positive Grid’s Ipad app is no longer working in iOS 16. Now I think Landr might be a better option.

Thanks Steve for the video. I'm just a musician writing and recording my own music purely for the enjoyment. These online mastering options are a great way to save a few bucks. For me I chose the 'Emastering' master although as you say, do I like it because it's just louder? I do think it does lift the track (which is fab by the way...killer guitar tone) and it gives it a spacial and clarity the original mix didn't have. I think I'll try the 'Emastering' option. Thanks again

Your other videos I really think that you would probably do that different now but I mean it it sounds so close to spot on but I really believe you would do that different now but if I'm not saying it don't sound good but the and it sounds like the vocal sounds like you're doing the vocals so I don't understand how you sound so much like Coverdale unless you used one of those tools but if that's you in vocal then that's great I couldn't imagine how the vast difference cuz I know after several years and years you know people get better

In other words I think nowadays you would nail that song note for note all the way through that's what I mean
