That is so weird seeing the sound ninjas in other scenes. The sound ninja 4 are my favorite antagonists, i wish this was localized but Revolution 2 is unique to NA. Thank god for emulation and English patches for gameplay at least.
Kind of sucks the headband and armwarmer Sasuke is a story only costume while it was a main feature in the 3 games before Ninja Taisen 4. But yeah, gotta say I enjoyed the story mode and battles, the overall game is pretty fun too. You'd think Itachi and Kisame would have nothing to do with it, but they still ended up showing up.
The devs at TOMY took liberties with the story, going the alternate timeline route, personally, the Sound 4 going after Sasuke earlier, let along having scuffles with the Akatsuki adds more tension to the situation. Basically the events of the GNT4 is entirely its own timeline, diverging from the Manga/Anime.
So the game tried to tell the Sasuke Retrieval Arc yet involving Itachi, Kisame, and Orochimaru when in reality they didn't participate at all during this story, huh? Ultimate Ninja 3 did way better work and included the ENTIRE game story.

I would've just put that extra outfit to the X button like they did in the 3rd games character selection options, if I was the developer or whatever.
