Minato and Kushina are brought back to life after Shippuden and get to spend the rest of their lives in Konoha together with Naruto and their grandkids... Boruto still annoyed by his dad, but looks up to his grandpa Minato, and Himawari looks up to her grandma Kushina.
I mean with both Minato and Kushina dead Jiraya is Naruto's legal guardian so him being at his wedding is normal. Plus he can be the grandfather for Boruto and Himawari from their dad's side.

This is all we wanted and that's why the original story is so powerfull, you can feel the PAIN naruto is feeling, losing his master and his best friend. Naruto understands the meaning of a loss, a turning point where the emotions can lead you to the wrong path, but luckily he is strong enough to deal with it.

When I saw the Six Paths Sage Mode activate, I figured it was a case Naruto who fought Nagato (Pain actually) was one who went back in the past. This is good enough to be an actual animated episode. This is like a fanfiction made live, kudos to those that made it. The roses to Tsunade was a cute touch.

the story I think was the same to the road to ninja, where Naruto met his parents. the fact that they've met with Jiraiya was actually in another world, which will never happen to the world where Naruto is actually live.

we all needed this. even the writters realized how cherished jiraya was to the whole story of naruto and minato, so they brought him back in a way. but this is why the pain arc was SOOOO GOOD. it has such an important emotional tie to it, losing jiraya was BIG and we were all feeling the pain and wanted the revenge, only to see Naruto follow his teachers teachings and becoming a hero. naruto could of ended there and it would of been amazing, but glad kishimoto finished his story and answered a lot of questions in the process.

He would have never lost his entire village by an horrible destruction, nor understand the viewpoint of Pain. That was a terrible but an inevitable lesson for him to get, to be futur Hokage. It was necessary. You know like, the necessary shit that have to happen to someone with a big fate, to him doing THIS same fate. So that’s why it was important to loose everything, to know he had to loose when Madara attacked later

While I love mangas and anime, one thing I think they should try is having what if scenarios or "remakes" of some stories, like western comics do (not overwhelmingly so and done to the bone like DC and marvel do, but this video here shows how that could work).
This pacing is actually really impressive. It doesn't drag or rush. It's a very filling 7 minutes, and I couldn't be happier if this ended up an alternate timeline, lightly sealed with a beautiful out track.
