Nice tour! Great to see "normal" and not touristy streets and views. Please do more.
That's the goal Dave! Thanks for the support.
What other areas are you interested in seeing?
@@MexicoRelocationGuide I’ve been touring on my own, but only see what a “tourist” sees, not the everyday views of regular neighborhoods and example rentals. So these aspects are really interesting. I’d really like to see videos on Guadalajara (I was surprised to find a really liked the extensive downtown area and the vibes!), Puerto Escondido, and also the different areas of Hualtuco and the different communities (La Crucecita, Santa Maria and any other communities in that area. The real estate market is pricey in La Crucecita, but what are possible nearby options?). What are the differences in daily life between Hualtuco, Puerto Escondido and Puerta Vallarta? I really appreciate your videos and information you provide!
Nice video. I was in Queretaro a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the Centro Historico, but did not really explore the outer areas. One thing I would mention is, maybe a lot of Americans/Canadians want a facsimile of their hometown in Mexico, but my guess is there are lots of us considering retiring to Mexico (I have 10 more years to go before I do), but who DO know Spanish and would like a different type of lifestyle, the one where you don't have do get in your damn car to go everywhere. A walking lifestyle. These gated communities are just not appealing to me. If I wanted a gated community I would stay in the US. I want life. I want to be around people. I know property crime can be an issue in some areas of Mexico, but Queretaro is extremely safe.
Thank you. I needed this. I have considered Queretaro. I am very picky on my meat. Organic/grass fed/grass finished, lots of walking areas for my little yorkipoo and I should be there in 1-2 weeks to check it out.
Great! Let us know what your experience is finding organic meat.
🤣
This video is making me lean toward Querétaro ove San Miguel, which I also love!🤷🏾♀️
That's nice. They're both very different in their own ways. I recommend spending some time in each so you can better determine which one you like
Nicely done! Such a clean neighborhood! High desert climate even better!
Queretaro is truly one of the best cities in Mexico
I fell in love with Los Alamos my first visit!!
That's so awesome to hear! What did you like about it?
@@MexicoRelocationGuide I love the mix of park and neighborhoods, the walkability the mix of residential and commercial. My stay was too short. I will revisit soon. Would love to get a more in depth tour with you. I am looking to relocate very soon!
It's very beautiful and peaceful, lots of shade and greenery. Thank you
It truly is one of my favorite cities in Mexico.
What's your favorite city in MX?
Looks so beautiful and peaceful!
I really find your videos informative. Have you done any on other nearby areas that share this climate, like San Luis Potosí and Aguascalientes? (everybody and their dog has done a video on San Miguel de Allende btw) Also, most people who want to relocate to Mexico understand that learning Spanish is important. But equally important is learning the metric system and the currency. Wish you would focus on using these primarily in your videos instead of catering to the USA, reporting things only in USD, mph, or degrees F. Anyway, please stay focused on what you do best and keep the videos coming.
Haven't done a video on those cities. But stay tuned we have a lot videos in the making coming in coming in the future
My favorite part were the poms at the end ❤. Great video, thank you.
thanks for stopping by and watching it. Glad you liked it
Very nice tour! I wish there was such a tour about Puebla. While there is an abundance of material on Queretaro on RUclips, for some reason there are not many video tours of Puebla and especially the expat life in it. Would be very nice if you make one. I closely follow your reports, guides and interviews which all are very professionally made.
There is a tour of Puebla. Here';s the video ruclips.net/video/a-ThYAotPmM/видео.html
That means Puebla is more affordable. San Miguel de Allende is getting very pricey, and Queretaro is not far behind.
Queretaro is beautiful. Thank you for this great report but as an early retiree, I think I would feel isolated.
Queretaro has a few expat meetups where you could meet others very quickly 😉
Loved seeing Los Alamos in your video!! Thank you!!
Thank you Jan! What other areas do you think would be good for a future video?
@@MexicoRelocationGuide Mariana, we love Oaxaca and know there are a lot of ex-pats there, but don’t know much about the neighborhoods. Thanks!!
@@janh.4479 thanks for the suggestion
Good job Mariana!
Thank you Brenda! Saludos
My amiga Liz!
Excellent information
Glad it was helpful!
Nice area of the city, I'll have to look for any mercados in the area, they look like great places to shop.
Great video Mariana, thank you so much!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.
What other cities do you want to see?
I enjoyed this video thank you although I was expecting more then one neighborhood as the title is “these” neighborhoods. Anywho what is real estate like? We will be visiting next year to look at secundaria and preparatoria for our kids.
I have more neighborhoods in Querétaro in my other videos 😀
My husband's family is from Durango so we are accustomed to Northern style cooking. What style of cooking is popular in this city? I am looking for steak tacos and birria and barbacoa type foods. Thanks Mariana
Queretaro is probably not the foodie capital of Mexico. There are restaurants from all regions of Mexico in Querétaro though. You’ll find everything here from tamales, to birria, to seafood, Indian, Italian, etc
Hello! thank you for the very informative videos.I was wondering if anyone know anything about Corrregidora area?
Defíntely- we have a variety of realtors that rent in that area a lot. And of course, we also have private relocation tour guides that know the area well and can show you around. Check out our private relocation tours page mexicorelocationguide.com/tours/private-relocation-tours/
Very informative video ❤
Thanks- glad you liked it
Make more videos of other safety colonies in Queretaro to live🎉🎉
I have other videos of Querétaro neighborhoods 😀
Hola! The relocation tour link doesn’t seem to work?
Mexicorelocationguide.com/tours/
Sorry about that! Just shared a new link with you ☺️
Does Queretaro have newer neighborhoods with sidewalks and no cobblestones,
Yes of course. 😀 most of Querétaro outside of Centro is not cobblestones
I am looking into Juriquilla
Juriquilla is certainly a great neighborhood 😀
How far is the beach?
I think Puerto Vallarta may be the closest beach. It's a 9 hour drive or a 1.5 hour flight
Did anyone else have trouble hearing the dialogue? I have volume turned up all the way and can barely hear it. Thanks
Sometimes when this happens, it means you may have something plugged in or something on your end that is lowering the volume. The volume of this video is fine :)
is this Santiago?
This is Santiago de Queretaro- which is known by most people as only Queretaro :)
@@MexicoRelocationGuide thank you!! i tought queretaro, queretaro was one place and santiago de queretaro another place. it is confusing to me to refer to it as the name of the state only. again, thanks a million! it is good to know now. =)
Are they still doing the mask thing in Queretaro?
In many public spaces no. But in some private retail shops yes
As well as government offices, hospitals and public transport
