    First of all: I am an old geezer. I have been to Mexico many times since my first visit in 1964. I have, for over fifty years visited Mexico from Nogales and Matamoros to San Christobal and Tapachula and everything in between. But, enough about me. I want to thank you both for bringing back to me memotis of my misspent youth, Things are so different today .. I miss the old days, but, that's another story! THANK YOU!!!!!

    Great video, I am in Queretaro now and I was looking for places to visit and so I found out your channel and I really like this format because that's just the same way I travel -working from Monday to Friday and only being able to explore the area in small bits of a few hours after work.
    Cheers from Italy

      How cool! We don't run into people who travel like us very often, so we are glad this was helpful!

    After years of watching bloggers, much like you, Querétaro is at top retirement spots. Numero #1 .

    Haaa Juliana you ate a whole scorpion last week! Ant caviar should be ........."a piece of cake"!!! What a beautiful little town Queretaro. I love that Spanish colonial architecture and those soft lights at night! The rocks at Cerro de las campanas were crazy. Weird phenomenon! "Like"

    You showed a different view of Queretaro than I have seen on other channels, thank you for that! BTW, there is a dark spot just left of center toward the top of the frame that has distracted me a bit in the last few videos, didn't notice it in the last 6 minutes or so of this one, just so you know.

  • @DeinielMas10
    @DeinielMas10 Месяц назад

    Please don’t. It’s already overpopulated. The city’s infrastructure is on the border of collapse. Many parts of the city smell terrible because of sewage issues, there are frequent water cut-offs in several neighborhoods, and the traffic is getting out of control too.

    I avoid lettuce like the plague for fear of getting sick. It doesn’t bother you? It is definitely on the no eat list for tourists.

    • @TouristtoLocal
      @TouristtoLocal  4 месяца назад

      We don’t have any problems when we have lettuce! Most places clean it really well and use purified water. We actually ate so many salads too this trip, and didn’t have problems :)

      I was in Queretaro a few weeks ago and didn’t have any problem with the lettuce. Of course when I ate at the airport in Dallas,TX that’s another story.

    Thank you for making me the patron sponsor for this video. It was meaningful to me, because I had just spent three days in Queretaro on my way to Spanish classes in Guanajuato. I had been there for one day before, but wanted to experience it more. I took a day trip to climb Peña de Bernal. I went to many of the same places as you. I went to Cerró de las Campanas the same morning I went to El Cerrito, Queretaro’s own pyramid. I also loved Cervaceria Hercules, a huge brewpub in an old factory. I will be back and you gave me a few new places to check out.

      This comment made our day!! How awesome that it worked out that you were the patron of the video this week ❤️ that’s funny that you went to so many of the same places! Funny enough we did end up going to cervecería Hercules off camera, and were obsessed!!! Stay tuned for our take on pena de Bernal soon 👍 thanks for the support!

    What a beautiful city Querétaro is! Such a powerhouse in the Bajío! Love it there!
    Also…Maximiliano was our second Emperor, Agustín de Iturbide was not just our hero of independence, but was also our first Emperor and his grandchildren were also given the titles of Princes of Hapsburg during the Second Empire, and through them is that the Mexican Royal Family still has lineage.
    And Juarez was by no means the best president of Mexico! At least not for this Mexican. Just an American puppet. 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Great video by the way! Loved the last speakeasy bar!
