Temu LOL. Any company that has ads on the weather app on my phone is suspect. I've 'clicked" on the ad before and found what appeared to be an astonishing array of utter junk.
The business model of NWS is to mass manufacture tools for cheap and sell them to other companies. Probably comparable to what Western Forge was in the US. They are white labeling for a shit ton of brands and around here can usually be found at local hardware stores. And this is where i would rank them. Affordable 'good enough' tools for the home gamer.
Speaking of Temu, and influencers that only say good things, watch out in February. Temu is going on a massive media campaign, they’re advertising on the Super Bowl and offering cash for influencers to drop ads into their videos.
Good video cp, I asked my dealer about the 100 tooth and he said he’s not even going to put them on the truck. Said he doesn’t want to put them in mechanics hands.
I hate to tell you guys but on that 3/8 100 tooth snap-on flex head (which btw I appreciate my snap on I own a 68 epic. Most of my sockets, ratchets, and wrenches are snap on) but my dealer had me put that and an icon to the test on the digital torque meter on the truck. It was a stupid test in my option but they wanted me to break them and see when and where they broke. I REALLY hate saying it but the icon and snap on broke within 1 ft/lbs of each other. And I have video evidence
For DIY icon pliers Are great. I started as a technician in the 70s seen all kinds of tools. They are good enough. Opinion are just opinions. And that’s mine
Damn, I just picked up one of those new 100 tooth ratchets Monday lol. Haven’t used it yet, but you’re making me second guess it haha. I picked up the Rocket Sockets a couple years ago and they work great. It’s no secret that you don’t like the RBRT bolt extractors, but what do you think about the straight extractors with FOR? Nick has the Grip Edge version for $205 with left hand drill bits, but can’t decide if I wanna pull the trigger on them or not. If anyone else has used them, I’d definitely like to hear what y’all think.
That junk on the Klein adjustable pliers is the slag that is left over when they remove the tool pieces from the molds. They skipped a major step and did not tumble the pieces before assembly and packaging. When you tumble them, all of that nasty excess material will fall off. That step adds cost, because you have to pay for the machine as well as the labor and electricity to run the machine.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Thanks for your honest opinion. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
I looked at the snap on volt meter and I am glad that I did not buy that one. I am use to using Fluke meters & I like them. I have considered a Flier volt meter.
I still think it's kinda foul that a premium ratchet isn't buttery smooth and basically flawless from the factory especially for a plus 200.00 price tag
I think part of the reason the new 100 tooth Snap-On is reviewed so poorly is, because we are now spoiled by Japanese ratchets with their incredibly low back drag.
Great video CP you nailed we need to stick together we all work hard and we need to support each other from the tools up to the skilled trade to the mechanics to our veterans. Thats what made this the best country in the world we have each other backs... and we do quality WORK no matter what. Back in the 90s you could go to any hardware store or tool shop and it was all 🇺🇸 made and same with the parts them came NAFTA
I’ve always liked your videos, but I liked them more when you were less affected by the comments. I don’t feel as though you need to explain the value of your opinions; that’s why we’re watching. We like them. Btw, the ONLY thing I’ve ever disagreed with you on was the Snap On pry bar handles. I love em and think they feel like wood grain. But thought it was fascinating listening to why you didn’t like them 👊
Hello again, CP Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Brother, your okay. You're opinions don't offend me at all 😊 I rather know what is coming up. Than get hurt in the process. Your dead on about Gearwrench Tools and Harbor Freight. Keep it coming CP. Keep it straight and Level 😊 Have a great weekend.
I see a lot of RUclipsrs pushing Vevor tools, what junk! I stop watching when the start pushing that 💩if you can't afford a decent tool I wouldn't waste my money on garbage. I appreciate the good tools I inherited, I want my son to do the same someday. Thanks for videos👍🏼
I was super excited when I heard they were coming out with the 100 tooth ratchets. When my dealer finally got em on the truck, the disappointment hit me like a ton of bricks. They are terrible and I absolutely won’t buy one. I really wanted that original logo too
I completely agree with what you said about the whole dynamic of people heavily praising whatever product it is, but at the same time lacks valid criticisms that people may have with a tool that they bought or what have you. More people should look at what they're buying by doing their own research before pulling the trigger on ordering something expensive. It's not just the tool market, it's happening in mass majority of almost every market imaginable because of the people who don't think twice on certain things they buy with their money. Again, I understand it's the people's responsibility on how they want to spend their own money. But I certainly don't like the way that some companies are marketing some of these tools and it should be discouraged by them dishonestly hooking people into their product just to make money with no real goal or initiative to improving their product better in the future the next go round to making the consumers happy.
Google/RUclips needs to require that before anything is said there is a blanket statement “This is an Advertisement”. Leaving this up to the content creators seems to have led to them being vague on whether, or not were just watching a paid advertisement instead of an objective video.
Over here in Germany we have this. It's called the 'influencer law' and makes it mandatory for content creators to clearly label anything they are paid for as an advertisement. Of course these sneaky assholes still trying to find ways to avoid doing this.
Hello CP & HENRY: Thank you for this video as I always respect your opinion. Sorry to hear about the Durateck failure but it certainly sounds like my Crapsman debacle as the Crapsman tool didn't even ladt 6 minutes. Chad I'm like you & I hate garbage. I know how the tool was designed & how it's suppose to perform. In my book if a tool doest perform it goes. CP I think everyone is getting squeezed due to the state of the economy but if I pay for a tool there shouldn't be any shortcuts. If the manufacturer wants to cheapen it then he should lower the price. CP, you & Henry please stay warm & stay safe. TMP from N.J.
Holy hell when I commented on your pic asking which was Knipex I just took a guess without really looking. After seeing the details paying attention let’s just say it’s obvious lol
VP could you do a video on inferred cameras Top Don, Flier & what ever else you have in mind that would be good. I have used the Flier one that attaches to your I Phone but I won’t one with better quality. Yes I know it comes with a price but willing to pay for a good one. Also could you do a video on bore scopes? Thanks for all of your videos & the effort that you put into them and for some of the history on tools and exposure to who makes them. I as well have bought a lot of different tools over the years with some being excellent & the others being that was a waste of money.
I love the honesty that’s why I’m here watching your stuff every video all the time because it’s nice to hear peoples true, honest opinions on their experience with stuff!!! THANK YOU!!! Please keep it up! I’ll be here watching!!
Cp I think the us companies can't keep up with current production they can't increase sales my theory is snappy is paying big money to have first shot at available iron and production runs on rebrands
Hazette has its place but not all of it. They were THE choice for 5mm and 6mm stubby hex sockets paired with a Snap On flex head 1/4”’ratchet. Without that combo you couldn’t work on a bmw or Mercedes Benz between 79 and 95
Aww man I was really hoping the ratcheting flare wrenches were going to be awesome, not shit... hopefully it's just that brand?? And yeah VIM has some great tools, and some meh tools. As for the 100 tooth Snap-On's I'm really hoping it's just because it's new, and the machining Isn't quite right yet... and you should have just bought a fluke meter in the first place
I would probably get hella hate but I think the knipex twin grips should be on this list. I was so excited when I got them and switched back to the vampliers after I walked to my van like 10 times because the knipex didn’t work for the application. I still have a set in my van but I haven’t used them a single time in like a year. I think they would work better for working on cars but I haven’t used them for anything I have done on my cars in a year either. I haven’t really had great luck w 100 tooth ratchets I broke a craftsman one trying it out so I just stuck w my old school snap on ratchets. They work great. The brand that got better w more teeth was Koken
I'm gonna be honest with You CP have seen a lot of RUclips's that I've stopped watching because they come off more than advertisement and a commercial more than an honest-to-God. Look at a tool and it's like if I wanted to watch commercial. I'll just watch daytime television. Cause I cause it just doesn't come off as real.
I went down a rabbit hole a little while back that ended with me researching Great Star more and it left with me a bad feeling. Looks like it’s a huge Chinese company buying up American companies for the name and going to make them all 💩. Makes me want to try to avoid buying any of their stuff.
Not all video overviews need to be sugar-coated and pretty. Honesty makes for a great video, IMO. Chad, you have integrity and always keep it real. And at the end of the day, these are your opinions. If people are too sensitive to others opinions on tools that clash with their own--and to the point of hateful commentary, they should stay away from this channel. And better yet, seek some counseling on self-actualization/improvement.
Duratech is okay for any basic non-ratcheting wrench. LOL Temu I don’t mind for things like plastic clip sets or zip ties or cookies. I didn’t dislike the Vim ratchet handle but I’m not a huge fan of that kind of finish on a ratchet.
I think vim still has a lot of potential, like yeah the ratchet grip I don’t like either but the majority of vins tools are really good. Plus the fact they are active on RUclips and taking opinions from us the viewers makes it feel like we have a say in some of the decisions.
Yes the sycophants ruined tool reviews like they ruin a lot of other stuff everything's not great all the time I'm sorry That's why I watch your channel at least you'll tell it like it is if it's good it's good if it's not it's not

@CPthetooladdict understand that. Recieved mine before using and was disappointed. Shouldn't have to add anything but even dual 80s get better after use and oil soak. It's been night and day with 100 tooth. If would have seen before buy, may have not buy though.
Cp come on!!!!!..... how do you leave a review on a tool you did not buy or use at all. I myself purchased the 100 tooth snap on out of excitement. Calling like it is !!! ❤️👍. And love that Den of Tools Statement, nothing but facts !!!!
Started shopping Gearwrench and Harbor freight as ypu recommend
CP, I am with you all the way when it comes to TEMU. I have not and will never buy anything from TEMU.
I agree with the NWS comment, I bought some pliers based on reviews and looks. The quality casting or coating is garbage.
I appreciate your truthfulness.
Good video cp, I asked my dealer about the 100 tooth and he said he’s not even going to put them on the truck. Said he doesn’t want to put them in mechanics hands.

Thank you CP for your honesty.

“Phallus swallowers” 😂👊🏻
I got a set of bolt extractors that are craftsman and I like them a lot
Thanks for your honest review of stuff
Good review cp. The temu wrenches look very similar to the tribus wrenches

I do have to admit I like the 100 tooth Snap On ratchet. My backseat isn’t too bad and I have the straight “F-100” fixed head ratchet.

Dam Mr CP it's got to cost you a fortune to run the electric heater 🤣
I'm a fan CP! Disappointed with the Hazet ratchet review but then again, I shouldn't be after watching the Torque Tet Channel Review.
