I have plantar fascitis and am flat footed. I have tried over 5 shoes. I wear men size 14 and drive uber. My car pedal sits low. The only shoe that hasn't hurt my foot has been the Lebron Wtiness 6 but it is too tight around my toe and ankle and was cutting off circulation in my leg. With these Lebron 19 being low top do you think would have more toe room? What basketball shoes would you recommend? I have a pair of saucony's but the sole hurting my feet. Brooks sole hurting feet as well.

the reason why maneuvering lebron 19s low takes the extra skill, which required to not be slow with the foorwork, is probably because nike decided to have almost the entire forefoot react foam to expand- except the lateral cage and a small shank in the mid foot.
from what i have learnt from the Jordan 36s performance review, lebron 19s low literally doesnt have any speed features from the 36s- no zoom no mid foot plate energy storage. Nike really decided to have Nike React foam to "manage" all the forefoot tasks in the lebron 19s low.
it is interesting decision coming from Nike this time. if you looked at the curry line, Curry Flow 9 even extend to shank toward the forefoot. Which Nike def couldn't do because the Air Unit messed up with the engineering of energy transfer.
the Unique aspect of this set up is just like how you play tennis, you have that extra time when you store energy from the ground up before you decide how to hit the ball- hence you can slide or take turn with more time on mind. this can apply to any 2 feet plant and finish moves in basketball- biggest pros is that you have more control in case an external force from defender interupt your motion. Basically Lebron- as skillful as he is, can have the option to jump less fierceness high to finish the play, he can just maneuver around with the option of rapidly changing direction under both feet with ease on both time and body. But still the biggest cons is that this shoes still "slow" your footwork lol.
Cant wait to snag these 19s low, the biggest downside is the price, literally if these goes 120 it will be such a value to invest, maybe a little better traction too.
anyway i'll be damned if Nike comes up with a system that makes React Foam explosive just like how Jordan 36 store n transfer energy and have all the good aspects required from a well received basketball shoes. BRING BACK KOBES :'(

I'm late but have been waiting for the low 19. A1 review. I really like the look of it compared to the high. Have a handful of 18s and 18 lows. I've always enjoyed the cushion set up in the LeBron, I don't mind sitting up high on these doesn't bother me but looks like I'll pass on the 19 and shoot for a pair or 2 of the 19 lows. Once again an amazing review love your presentation!

Eyy. Just in time! I just got my hands on a pair of Lebron 17s. It's my first Lebron's since the 9s and I loved the cushion on feel on foot. I've been looking at these on the Nike store for a while now, because I'd love to try out other Lebrons on court.

I actually like how these lock your feet in. If you have midfoot issues like plantar fasciitis, these will feel good because they're also pretty stiff. I also like how wide the heel is so even with the air pockets back there it offers stability. At least with me that's the case. I have two pairs of the lows

I'm a fat guy who bought these just for everyday use and they actually healed the plantar fasciitis I suffered in my right foot. I've had a few other basketball shoes for the same reason, but I really liked these because they didn't feel too soft under my foot and felt otherwise quite supporting. Trying to find a new pair of basketball after there is a pain in the butt because I don't play and I don't really know why these are perfect for me, or at least I don't know what to google to find similar shoes. 😄

Thanks for you review 😉 always interesting 🙂 what about sizing? I ordered my size and it's unwearable (too tight). So I ordered a 1/2 size up plus a full size up. Difficult to choose between the 2 paires. I'm still a bit tight on the 1/2 size up but wonder if they are going to go larger after wearing them a few times. If I go a full size up I'm afraid they end up to large after a few wear. What do you think? Thank 😃

Zach, would it be possible for the LeBron 19 Lows to give me peroneous longus pain with their high stack height through the heel and mid foot? I’ve played in these for 4 days and that muscle is SUPER tender. I remember your review on the Zoom Freak 3s, and you mentioned the stack height in those could cause ankle/Achilles discomfort, and some of your viewers mentioned their calves hurting after playing in them. I figure the 2 shoes could be related with this similar problem. Thanks for any insight you can give!

That's been my problem with lebron's as far back as the 13. They just run narrower than other models, and it's a reason lebron doesn't always favor even his own shoes. I think Nike assumes that his kicks need to be narrow because of how high the cushioning makes them; it adds stability. Believe me, I want to like them but the tightness always makes me regret it when I do.
