    Some of the main areas we cover in this basketball shoe playtest, teardown and performance review are:
    - The weight, durability, fit and playability
    - What are the features of the insole, midsole, and outsole
    - Jordan brand basketball shoe technology explained

    I want to hear others opinion on this also. So, I have the AJ 36 low for 10 days and I’ve been practicing in them since, for 3/ 4 hours daily. My opinion is that the cushion is just too much. And because of that, I feel like my foot is sinking in the midsole everytime I’m trying to make a more impactful move. So the energy return is not so good, also, I feel more fatigue after finishing the practice compared to when I wear a shoe with less cushion. So is there anyone out there that can relate to this?

      yes.. just returned mine for a pair of Luka 1s.. night and day diff.. feet felt frumpy in the J36 lows and never confident.. really think you need the highs if your lookin for the containment to match w the zoom units.

    Hey Doc, I have a question regarding the toe box: how much room should be left in the front for the second toe with a Greek foot? I have plenty left for the big toe, but only maybe 4 mm for the second toe. Is that going to be alright? If I go up half a size, there is too much room for the big toe.

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  Год назад

      Yeah that’s a tough call- 4 mm seems ok but I’d have to see it in person to say for sure

    Hey Zach, sorry to bother but can orthotics help out with a basketball shoe that may feel too soft for you(kd14), primarily in the cushion area or do orthotics have nothing to do with cushion and how your foot tries to stabilize the cushion and also what type of orthotics would you recommend for the KD 14’s.

    Interesting….why they didn’t use the leno weave? Is the felt and fusing on the low meant for extra lateral support or is it the cause of the lack there of?

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  2 года назад

      I think this was just a cheaper option for them and had to make them different enough to justify the low

    The high version of the Jordan 36 did not suit me. When changing direction, my foot comes off in them. In the low version, side stripes were added, which should restrain the foot. In this review, you say that the support is better in the high version. Will my foot roll even more in the low version?
    Is the outsole tread stronger on the low version? On rubber crumb, I erased the high version very quickly.

      Support is more or less the same in both. The only thing that differs is the ankle collar height and the mudguard wrap. It’s a synthetic material and I personally didn’t notice much of a difference from the Low to the Normal.

    hi Zach I really want to buy a new shoe but I do not know what I will buy. My options are kd15, converse bb shift, and anta kt7. I do not know what type of foot I have but the right foot is wider than the left foot. the right foot always hurts on the Kobe mamba focus I am using. I have a high arc. I also feel pain right side of my right knee and in the sole of my right foot. I play pg and usually drive, dribble, and fast footwork. what can you suggest to me?
