I always watch you before a shoe purchase so I know what I'm getting into, I just got the luka 2s after I watched this same with the curry 9, kd 15, luka 1, lebron 20, and the dame 8 keep it up
Im so glad we have the same thoughts. I wore the Luka 1s very often and liked them(their comfort/bounce wasnt anything too crazy tho). The 2s? A massive difference in the feel and comfort. Grip is great(Ive boxed in em a few times and loved em).
Two wxy v3 is a excellent shoe for basically any player. If you can still find them for a reasonable price definitely get a pair. They run true to size but don't have heel slippage problems if you go up 1/2 size to accomodate a high volume foot or wide forefoot like i have. The ua flow futr x2 really isnt worth the money. They are the only ua model with the flow outsole that ive experienced inconsistent traction and less comfortable cushioning

This have been the best shoes for my wide feet. It’s been a mission finding shoes that fit me. I use a 10.5 on most shoes but when trying shoes like lebron or most Nike and adidas models even a 11.5 seems to hurt the side of my feet and not enough space for my ankle brace. These fit perfectly on a size 11. I used to wear curry’s from 2017 and my feet would hurt so much after playing. These are a bit heavy but for me the best shoe I have try for basketball. If you’re a big dude and struggle to find shoes give this a try

@@jerikl8694 They just feel stiff and not as comfy as anything with air (zoom unit) in them. They also rub if I play hard but I just casually wear them now.

As per your review doc, the Luka 1s are better 😄 Can you review the last colorway for the Luka 1? The materials on those are far different, those seems to have a "terrascape" variant crater rubber as carrier for the formula 23 midsole.
Yeah, they mentioned cushlon 3.0 wedge on the product description. Could it be the red part of the midsole? Is it the same material as the white foam carrier 🤔
do you think on the bounce height test sometimes when the forefoot is not as thick the ball is actually bouncing and bottoming out on the ground more so it bounces higher?

that was killing point!, but Doc didn't mention it... this Cushlon 3.0 part is useful for 'step back'. that is new tech of Jordan brand.

Two wxy v3 is a excellent shoe for basically any player. If you can still find them for a reasonable price definitely get a pair. They run true to size but don't have heel slippage problems if you go up 1/2 size to accomodate a high volume foot or wide forefoot like i have. The ua flow futr x2 really isnt worth the money. They are the only ua model with the flow outsole that ive experienced inconsistent traction and less comfortable cushioning

No shoe will prevent an ankle sprain unfortunately
the lacing system on these remind me of older models from nike. they did that with the 38 as well

The Luka 1's are one of the least favorite shoes I own comfort wise. Hopefully these are an upgrade. The black purple color way is awesome.

How does the heat test work? You heat it up for X time (say 1 min) and the measure it again after X time to see how it cooled?

Not at all. A solid ball doesn’t bounces higher on the ground than on the foam designed to return (part of) the force put into it.
I grabbed a pair of the “Luk.AI” colorways, these shoes are/were STIFF. Breaking them in was a task lol
