After all, the only way to get here is to literally Master the game, making you the biggest threat to Eggman here, those little missiles hes shooting out arent going to do anything but slow you down, and not enough to keep you off of him. Sonic is the Predator, Eggman is just a delicious breakfast
I used to get sweaty palms and my heart racing playing this part of the game especially when it came to the egg robot,God help you when you don’t have any rings trying not to get blasted by that emerald ray beam!

He destroys these amazing creations without a single thought as to how they work. This is probably highly advanced tech that is well beyond the current understanding in the sonic universe. Without doubt a lot of the technology in these gadgets could be repurposed for amazing things yet it's all destroyed, forgotten about and all of Eggman's once in a millennium scientific genius is wasted because it's "evil". This without even considering the logistics behind their construction.
The video uploader is correct. Also you can do the Doomsday Zone as Super Sonic in S3&K. You CANNOT go to the Super Emerald alter or else you permanently lose the ability to turn super. This forces you to get the Super Emeralds. Super Sonic is not considered the best ending. After the credits you get a scene of Egg Robo rising out of the wreckage. Which might actually be canon since it explains Knuckles story. I think the Hyper Sonic ending is Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles posing by the "3" from the title screen.

I remember the first time i made it to Doomsday. My heart was pounding out of my chest, I was like "Holy shit, it's real! I made it!!!" Of course i died. But I thought doomsday was like a one-and-done type of board. I had like 50xMen so once i came back to life, it was literally "game over"!! lol
It was only the Sonic & Knuckles part of the game. It wasn't connected with Sonic 3. This was way back on the wii and didn't know I could connect the games together. I have the Steam version or Xbox version now that can connect together. I might maybe replay the game some time.
