{{{Ahhhh}}} thank you for your words here. I used to do this every single day, except for Saturday and Sunday…my days off of course. I’ll be 67 in 6 months…got my Reebok bench in the living room. Just recovering from a total hip replacement 3 months ago…I can’t wait to get back into. 😊
Exactly my experience!! Did in my 30s- had a couple of falls in the last 4 years and twists that needed some foot rest .. and so glad to have rediscovered. .. now 63, have to say, Muscle memory helps a lot with the relearning and doing!! So glad . Found a smaller step lengthwise also .. feel so good.
I just bought a used Reebok Step just so that I could do this workout. It kicked my 52 year old butt and I loved every minute of it! I dig the music and the stylized way it is filmed and edited. So fun!
Girl, you have been missing out! Me and Gin, have been viritual besties since the 90's!!! I started working out via VHS. And yes, I am telling my age. I am in my late 50's. I bought a Jane Fonda stepper and video in the 90's, so use that to workout with Gin. The gym was closed during t he pandemic, so I worked out at home, and lost 20lbs by doing that and my Kettlebell Bootcamp video. I have gained it back plus more. I am going to put that video back into my regimen.
In the comments section, I discovered that this video came out in 1992. That's 2 years after I moved to America from Haiti. I was in the military, I've done P90x, Slim in 6 and several others. Ms Miller really set the stage for those who came after her in the fitness industry. I saw this video 2 weeks ago for the first time and glad it was in my feed. Been doing Step Rebook 3x a week and Oh Mon Dieu!!(Omg) The only time I sweat more is in hot yoga. I got me 2 lb weights and moving it up to 3lbs in 2 more weeks. This is brilliant. Thank you, Ms. Miller. Your cuing is out of this world. I'm obsessed with the tribal music and the dark ambience. I feel like super woman after I do Step Reebok. Yasmine
Yeah same here, we moved back from Germany, and I discovered it back in 1992, actually it came with the step, I purchased it at Sears, best decision I’ve ever regretted.
I just love Gin Miller. I’ve been exercising with her for well over 20 years. Her voice is soothing, and her instructions are precise and easily followed. I give her credit for helping me to maintain my great shape and good health after all of these years.
I have been doing this since it came out in 1992... every time I check my heart rate, I marvel of all the age ranges I have gone through since then... from 23 to now 51 :)
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH GIN MILLER! i have been doing your workouts since 1994. At 34 i was fairly healthy but when i started doing this step workout it truly boosted my enjoyment & zest for life. At 60, and still doing your step work out 5 times per week, im so grateful & thrilled with my quality of life. your talent & efforts & devotion to a healthy lifestyle are greatly appreciated Gin, still going strong!!!!
Best gift ever when I received it back in 1992. Back at it now at 52 and it still beats any other video workout I've tried...FULL BODY WORKOUT!! The style and music was revolutionary for an exercise video & it STILL SLAPS!! It's great to be able to use the RUclips app on my TV or screen share through my phone. I can't wait to check out your other workouts!!
I did this workout with my dad when I was a teenager. I lost him 6 years ago. Doing it again made me feel nostalgic and made me feel like he was in the room with me.
I needed an indoor workout to replace running to lose baby weight. This was recommended by my sister-in-law who did it back in the 90's and loved it. I bought the most 80's looking step possible (teal and pink!) and have been doing this since Monday. Mon&Tues- only made it through 30 minutes and stumbling through choreography at 4 am but totally loved it. Thurs (today)- made it all the way to the end and learning the steps. Really having fun and enjoying the throwback to the early 90's, the group looks like an old Calvin Klein underwear ad walked onto the Rhythm Nation set and I am not sorry! The low lighting is perfect for 4 am. The music is low-key and Gin's voice is not shouty and I am grateful. Looking forward to doing this for a long time and just raising my step when it starts to get easy. It also helps my brain get going by requiring me to remember movement patterns. Love this.
Just thought to add this- if anybody is having trouble reaching your step goal during the pandemic like I am, this workout will get you about 3300 according to my tracker :)
I just noticed another bonus- I have serious lower back problems that usually make me unable to pick things up for the first few hours of the day and I struggle to put on my socks and shoes before this workout... but afterward my back is warm and limber and I can easily bend to remove my socks and shoes. Just one more reason to love this. The workout itself doesn't exacerbate my injury the way bodyweight cardio or HIIT does. Yay!
I was teaching Step classes in the gym at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey in 1993. Used all these moves. Still do it in front of the TV at home. Gin Miller and Jaqi Snow in Albuquerque changed my life! May not be the exercise du jour, but it's still #1 in my heart!
I use a low step height (15cm/6") and carry 1kg (2lb) handweights from the end of the warmup until the the second heart rate check. Without handweights, I barely raised a sweat. With handweights, I'm dripping in sweat and exhausted. I avoid jumping (side step when the soft jacks are done). Since starting the step workout, it has been easier to do leg squats with a barbell. I haven't done step classes since the 1990's. Really happy to find this video.
February 2024 and Used Step Reebok the Video (cadence) with my Avita Fit Airbike and the total workout was 8.7 miles on level 9 ( 🚲). And WHAT a workout. If you have an Airbike or Assault Bikes combined with this Step Reebok Soundtrack, you're gonna get a Massive working. I Approve. Been Stepping with SRTV for 25 years ❤. Bless You 🙏 Gin Miller
Yes!! This was by far the most played tape in my library! God, I loved this workout! It got me through grad school!! I'm doing it now--- yes, 30 years later! Let's go! Thanks Gin!!
Started this in my 20's and now I am 56 and want to get started again. I loved this workout. Great production too. Unfortunately, I only have this in VHS.
Best workout ever! The music was incredible and the workout routine flawless!! I remember doing this routine in the 90’. I still have my tape. It was too good to let go. I’m about to start doing this routine again. I’ve got some weight to lose. Let’s go!!
This is always going to be the best step workout, hands down it can’t be beat, I love it, I’ve been doing this since 1992. When I’m ready to get into shape, I always come back to this step workout, Gin Miller is awesome.
I have to buy and use the platform only, for step aerobics now. That's ok because I can still obtain an excellent workout. From hereon it's step aerobics and the bo staff for upper body toning and strength, before progressing to Kendo.
I use to workout to this while my children were babies in the late 80 or early 90's. I had a difibalator placed in me a while ago. I was going to the gym and now with what is going on I have to do something to bring me up physically and mentally. I purchased a Rebook step and Im getting to work. I want to thank you for giving us inspiration and dont even know it. I wish I could thank her over phone since we have to pratice social distance I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE!😉
Wow, I had this on VHS back in the day, I've just done 30 minutes to the first heart rate check.. Think that's a good start, brilliant, takes me back to my lycra and thonged leotard days 😜😂. This is my new lockdown go to ☺️
Jan 2020: Found this vhs in 1994 at blockbuster video and this is what got me started on my health and wellness lifestyle . Now on DVD I'm still steppin with Gin Miller. Still the best and favourite workout of mine
Another start to a great morning. Absolute classic favourite of all times, I never get bored doing this workout over and over, forever love this step class. Thank you so much Gin Miller :) xx
This is my absolute favorite step routine! The music is energetic and the routine is a great workout. I've been doing it since my mid-30s. I haven't done it for several years and at 59 years old, I can still hang in there but with a lowered step for my achy knees. Glad its on RUclips because my VHS tape is about to go bad!
I'm so happy I found this as I used to work out with it on VHS back in the day (90's). There has never been a better workout. I've always loved the "rock video" atmosphere with the band and camera angles, and everyone in it looks like a badass! No annoying instructors here! Nothing more motivating for getting into shape. Thanks, Gin, you rock!!
What a blast from my past! Loved doing this workout again. It holds up. I’ve been getting back into step recently. Not sure why this type of cardio ever went out of style.
I bought this in 94 to snap back from having a baby. Now I'm in menopause and proud to say I lasted the entire video! It was much harder for me years ago!
Go to Amazon . It's on DVD . Hurry because it's not in mass production anymore . Been doing this video since 1996! Still the best workout and soundtrack on the market
I also have been doing this since 1999 _2002 I think . Lol I always loved this and Gilad step workout,as well His is more intense, but I lost 30 lbs doing both work outs and was in the best shape of my life .Now I am in great shape, too at 39 years old, too thanks to this video! Always a winner 🏆 in my book!
Gin Miller runs a workout center in Woodstock, GA. I also would love to see a Step Reebok the Video Reunion of the original cast. I've been doing Step Reebok since 1996 myself. Still the Best Workout on the market
O my! I cannot believe I found this video. I use to workout with this video in the 1990's. Such good memories. Still working out at 67. 🏋️♀️
Likewise
Damn, 31 years later and I still LOVE everything about this workout and video!!! ❤ Nothing else has ever compared.
I started doing this at 16/17. At 45 almost 46 this gets me going. I love this workout forever. ❤️
I can’t believe I found this video. I did this regularly in my 30, now I’m 65 and going to do it again. I love this video. Thank you Gin!
Exactly my experience!! Did in my 30s- had a couple of falls in the last 4 years and twists that needed some foot rest .. and so glad to have rediscovered. .. now 63, have to say, Muscle memory helps a lot with the relearning and doing!! I just bought a used Reebok Step just so that I could do this workout. It kicked my 52 year old butt and I loved every minute of it! I dig the music and the stylized way it is filmed and edited. So fun!
Those Reebok steps are the best. I was given mine back in 2004 and still use it, often. The woman that gave it to me had it for years.
Just ordered this again too!! 😅
Girl, you have been missing out! Me and Gin, have been viritual besties since the 90's!!! I started working out via VHS. And yes, I am telling my age. I am in my late 50's. I bought a Jane Fonda stepper and video in the 90's, so use that to workout with Gin.

It's an awesome work out!
I did this work out for over 20 years and find it to be one of the best……
This is always been my favorite workout. I started doing at 1992. I feel like I am cool just doing it,I’m 70 by the way.😊
My favourite workout to this day, I've been doing it since my 30's....I'm 68 and still at it! Love it!!!!
Please re-release this favorite again SOON. I've bought it on VHS 2X, DVD has cracked. I wear this video out.
Always been one of my favorites. I still have the VHS tape! Love this workout.
This is the BEST workout ever!! I discovered this in 1992. I did it every day with my friend. Amazing!! Still better than any other work out.
In the comments section, I discovered that this video came out in 1992. That's 2 years after I moved to America from Haiti. I was in the military, I've done P90x, Slim in 6 and several others. I’ve started using 0.5kg hand weights and I can even feel a difference with that!
@@emmaplatten2903 That's wonderful.
Yeah same here, we moved back from Germany, and I discovered it back in 1992, actually it came with the step, I purchased it at Sears, best decision I’ve ever regretted.

This brings so much memories! I was so young when this came out. My parents used to exercise and I would watch it because I loved the music.
I have been doing this since it came out in 1992... every time I check my heart rate, I marvel of all the age ranges I have gone through since then... from 23 to now 51 :)
Me too... KEEP STEP ALIVE...
Me too. Now 54. I’m going to do this starting today!
Still the best workout on the market. Been doing this workout for over 25 years
@@5rodan5 I started it 25yrs ago stopped and now I’m back!
Impressive, I used to be able to do it too. The amazing thing is it never gets boring, it is very cleverly produced.

At 70 I'm still doing it. Unfortunately there are very few step classes left. And that pisses me off. It is really the best workout....
I. Did this workout 25 yrs ago, it's the only workout that can take my thunder thighs. No kidding
By the way I'll be 54 in September, 2 time Breast cancer survivor & double mastectomy

Oh god this is so 90s MTV😆
I have been searching for this! I did it in high school. I’m 43 now and I can’t do all the dancing on the steps lol
I have to buy and use the platform only, for step aerobics now. That's ok because I can still obtain an excellent workout. From hereon it's step aerobics and the bo staff for upper body toning and strength, before progressing to Kendo.
I use to own these workouts and the step. Loved the workouts-very tough…

So glad to find this, and at the perfect time!
49:41 Introduction to Safety and Technique - very useful!
It's still a great work out, so cleverly put together and packaged. I tired to d the work out sans step but my knees are stuffed.
I’m glad I found you. I must tell my sister.
What a blast from my past! Loved doing this workout again. It holds up. I’ve been getting back into step recently. Not sure why this type of cardio ever went out of style.
The BEST STEP VIDEO!

Did anyone find that their thighs got larger instead of leaner doing this workout?
Got me through my morning workout. Looking for something with a little more choreography.
