I suffered through my undergrad at Berkeley, but it did change my attitude to put out 130% effort so I don't regret I could have done better. Keep up the hard work :)
Thanks for the tour. Berkeley has changed since my day back in 1979. Computers filled an entire room, we filed for our classes on punch cards, there was no Haas building and we were on the quarter system.. It is good to know as a physics major that LeConte Hall still looks the same. GO BEARS!

This is such a cool look into the life of an actual student. Growing up in the bay area, berkeley has been my dream school forever, and i even volunteer at the lawrence hall of science. Good video :D

Thanks for watching! I don't really have a particular favorite, but Data 100 (Principles & Techniques of DS) was really enjoyable and gave me exposure to topics like advanced SQL, machine learning, probability, etc - it really helped during interviews :)

Looked up My Coffee Roastery! What a cute hamlet, but quite a ways from campus especially if you're late for class--I used to live on MLK Way but farther down. Yes, it does have Harry Potter vibes and also feels a bit like Northside. Gotta check it out the next time I'm over there!

is this major worth it? I’m still in highschool and mine currently offers data science as an elective but I’m not sure atm
I’d say it is! Data science has opened a lot of doors for me and is applicable to every field. Even if you don’t end up ultimately pursuing a major/career in DS, I highly recommend you go for that elective to see if you like it!

Hi Edrea, I am new to channel and I wanted to know what recipe do have for the wonton soup? (Not sure if that’s what it is) Thank you!
Haha I basically just boiled wontons, kale (you can use any vegetable but that's what I had) and somen noodles, then added Dasida beef stock, fish sauce, soy sauce, salt & pepper to taste. Warning - it's pretty college meal-esque ;)

Wow, That's sounds like fun! Do you enjoy your campus life, don't you? Hi!, I am japanese and work as system engeneer at Tokyo, Japan. In USA, there are a lot of amazing cafeteria around the campus, I think "You are so lucky". By the way, have you ever visit to Japana? As you know, japanese yen goues down againt US dollar and many tourist are able to purchase some souvenir. When everything settles down, give it try!!

Hi Andy, thanks for watching! I basically joined every berkeley housing facebook group I could find and looked at some options there. I also used Google, Zillow, Trulia, etc. to find apartments and call them for availability. Good luck!

@@Dani-pf2tiIt depends on the apartment, but if you're looking to just take one spot out of a housing situation i would recommend the facebook groups! Lots of people find accommodations like that on there
