Ill forever miss that mascara. I still have some backups I need to get through and I’ll cherish every stroke of that magnificent brush 🥲 I need to look into the Kaleidos eyeshadows. I haven’t really tried them ever since they came out with quads. I’m not a big quad users… but I’m intrigued. Also, the restraint you’re showing during these Black Friday sales, you’re an inspiration, one I wish I could say I followed but I did get some things. A lot less than I usually would or what I truly wanted… but still, it’s not as if I actually needed anything 😅🥲
I am definitely on Team Clarins! I have been using their skincare for over 20 years. I couldn't tell you how many bottles of the Blue Orchid Treatment Oil I have been through! I'm also mourning the loss of Bite Beauty but have moved on to the Rare Beauty mascara and love it. 😊
Thanks for the recommendations! I've got a few mascaras to get through before I'll need more but I'll have to check out the Rare one; I've liked almost everything from that line.
About that Bite mascara, you could actually save the wand and wash it really well, disinfect it and then use it with some other formulas. Also, congrats on not buying any new makeup items during the sales, I am sure it was very tempting. I like you because you keep yourself accountable and because of your no-bullcrap attitude even though we sometimes have polar opposites of opinions, but I do appreciate you and your channel, just wanted to say that. :)
Thank you very much! Rational people can disagree over matters of opinion. It doesn't mean that one is necessary right, just that they view things in a different way based on their own lived experiences, etc. I'm more concerned with how people express those differences. It drives me nuts that so many people will instantly take it as a personal affront if someone disagrees that, say, mushrooms are gross. lol
@@KaraChapman I know. And I can be pretty ranty and go on to overly explain my opinions and views, but I feel like even then I like to not be bitchy with no rhyme or reason, but rather try to explain my position and my views. And from that point a good discussion can be raised. I can see how you are a good lawyer, because for that particular profession you really have to see a situation from many angles and be open-minded and rational. 👩🎓 The mushrooms being gross, I cannot disagree on that one, it's a yuck-town!🤢
I have ordered from Dossier and I loveeeee what I’ve bought. Their floral rhubarb (mj perfect inspired) is glorious. P.s. I use makeup wipes. Sometimes they’re just convenient as heck. I use biodegradable ones to help myself feel a little better about it. 🤷🏻♀️
I will never understand (especially Western) people who get so defensive about using makeup wipes. What about the baby wipes? Why don't they not use cloth only and wash it 10000x a week when dealing with a baby? How much energy and coal/river streams/nuclear energy AND water does it take to have those cloths washed? I am aware that the argument is that the wet wipes create so much pollution themselves - but does not everything we use? Also, if you donćt really put them in the toilet, then you can actually throw them with your other trash. People who throw them in the toilet are dumb, honestly. And so, for example, people will gladly buy 10000000 items of makeup, skincare, bags, shoes, clothes, home decor they DO NOT NEED and that is all fine and dandy, but ohmygod, booohoo, the makeup removing wipes are the devil. Come on, people, get a grip. Also, no, you do not really have any environmental impact with your wipes, no matter what they try to convince you. You know who does? The richest of the rich who are using their private planes everywhere while preaching the environmentalist bullshit to us. And I'm not saying do not take care of the environment, obviously, I mean, look at China for example, but we do need to realize as just regular citizens that we will not do anything for the environment if we remove any semblance of enjoyment and/or convenience from our lives (plastic straws, wet wipes...). Rant kinda over.
It's a good one and doesn't cost an insane amount. I've had for several months, have washed it many times, and it hasn't shed a single bristle yet too.
I wonder if the Kaleidos lip clay formula is better for the more neutral colors. I have 4 of the more bold options, and I like how the formula feels but I hate applying it, it's so hard to get an even application, especially with the blue one 😢
Discontinued items are the worst! Using them is like grounding your kid from their charger and not their device so they can see the battery draining knowing they won't be able to recharge it when it dies.
I LOVE the “I’ll wash it and not buy more but I’m going to be mad about it!!” That’s absolutely something I would do🤣
I feel like a lot of being an adult is just being grumpy about all the stuff we have to do even though we don't wanna. lol
@@KaraChapman absolutely 😂

If you like color you should get their escape pod palette it's amazing!
Dossier is amazing.
That was a great mascara. And your earrings are fantastic!
Oh thank you!

I might have to get that blush brush! I've been looking for one that works better with cream.

😁😅 For real!
Dude! That's is BRILLIANT!! Diabolic yet beautiful in its simplicity. Muahahaha!!!
The Dossier links aren’t links 🔗 just want you to get commission if people shop! 😉
