Welcome to a new series! What would you like to see next?
NOTE: You can make the exterior shell whatever best suits you. It’s mainly the interior and logistics that matter when building a blueprint factory. Thanks for watching.

I think it’d be kind of fun to make this into a series.
Have a blueprint that will do the vanilla recipe, then a blueprint that uses the “best” recipe.

In this case, I’d be interested in seeing a stitched iron plate blueprint.
Similarly, I think I’d be interested in seeing some blueprints that made stators and rotors from JUST iron. Maybe not the most efficient, but being able to just add an iron input and nothing else allows for a lot of flexibility that is incredibly valuable.

This is my favorite method. I remember being very excited when it clicked that I could make a motor factory with only iron.

Good blueprint design, however 10 Reinforced Iron Plates per minute are better because it only uses 120 iron ore per minute so no need for t3 belts, and spare space can be used for no alternative recipes build, speaking of alternative recipes, Stiched Iron Plates plus Iron Wire alternative recipes save around 30% of iron spent

I think that instead of using a smart splitter at the end you could just try to feed everything on one conveyor belt that goes into the storage container that itself outputs to the DDU. This way the DDU will still fill up first and then you will have a backup of ressources BUT, this backup will let you feed the DDU a bit faster. With your current setup the DDU only ever gets 12.5 RIP/min which is good but the buffer being in series will let it upload at it's maximum output for a while longer thus leaving you with more items without needing to go and get them from the factory directly

The design is so nice, both aesthetically and efficiency!

Maybe I missed it, but you really should say, almost right away - This is an alternate screw recipe.

make sure you record future videos in the day, it's hard to see with it being so dark

This is a really cool idea.
You have inspired me to try using the blueprint more now.
Also, I might "barrow" this set up to learn, of course.
I did have a little bit of a hard time seeing in the nighttime.
I also love the example of why you lifted the belts

Do you think you could fit a motor factory in a 6x6 or even a 6x6?

I think it's easier to just go modular which is create separate 4x4 rotor and 4x4 stator factories and then combine them together and copy paste this combo as many times as you desire then gather their outputs and dump them into proportionate amount of assemblers. A single assembler takes 10 rotors and 10 stators per minute so all you need is to create two blueprints that create 10 items per minute. The benefit of this approach is every time you need rotors or stators anywhere else you just paste those blueprints in as many copies as needed while a dedicated motor factory can only be a dedicated motor factory.

I wonder how well the Satisfactory tool planner selects optimal recipes if select all of them. Does anyone know? For example, chose Heavy Modular Frame and select all alt. recepice and how it will be optimized
