    The view from the sugar loaf is one of the most vivid memory of visiting Rio. Truly stunning.

    It was excellent to have been in Rio. Lovely city, humble people, long live Brazil and is children
    Though people are very receptive to tourists, they could not interact for very few of them know English.

      That is true, especially if you go outside of the more touristy areas. However, large strides have been done in recent years. I am Brazilian and my fiancé is French, I noticed a lot more options in menus in English, taxi and uber drivers, and overall guidance around the city. That said, we still have some ways to go when receiving international tourists. You might find Spanish a bit more easily as well, since 30% of all foreign tourists in Brazil are Argentinian, even more if you consider the entire Latin America.
      Regardless, i hope you had an amazing time in Brazil and come back again :)

    Hey @yanndepierre59. Thank you for your video. How long is the trail and do you still need to wear masks in Brazil?

    • @tripsterpanda
      @tripsterpanda  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi @kevincurtis9115! The trail takes approx 40 minutes and is considered an easy level (no difficult obstacles), albeit all of it is going up hill.
      Brazil is not using any distancing measures anymore, so masks are not necessary at the moment.
      Have a lovely Christmas!

    How long does the hike take up urca hill?am thinking of walking that first segment to reach sugarloaf mountain

    • @tripsterpanda
      @tripsterpanda  4 месяца назад +1

      It takes around 40 min. But make sure to get your tickets from Urca hill to Sugarloaf on the ground stop as I am not sure you are able to purchase them up there.

    Ola :) That me again with one question. Because traveling to Rio end of this year, would ask you for walk hiking to Morro da Urca - I have some fear of heights, especially I am standing close to to cliffs or watching down where I don't have enough space. Is this trail available for walk for me or better no? Thank you :)

      @tripsterpanda  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hi! The trail is easy, wide and not really any steep cliffs to close to it. I found this other video of someone, which shows the entire trail up there, and you can judge if it is something you would feel comfortable with :)

    Can you just do first platform and not go to summit

    • @tripsterpanda
      @tripsterpanda  2 месяца назад

      Yes, they are two different mountains, Urca hill and Sugarloaf. You can hike the trail up and down of Urca hill for free and not go up the Sugarloaf.
      If you want to visit the sugarloaf, you must take the cable car. You can also take the cable car just up and down Urca Hill, if you don’t want to hike. This first leg (beach - Urca Hill and return) will be cheaper than buying the two rides (beach - Urca hill - Sugarloaf and return)
