- I don't know how it's possible to clear a G Rank quest in less than 3 minutes with High Rank equipment, but I just did I guess lmao
Aerial Hammer is quite a niche playstyle, it is extremely dangerous and difficult to use, but it can prove to seriously shine in a few matchups in GU, the crabs, Gammoth, Astalos, Lagiacrus, etc.
I reinstalled Ryujinx and decided to record some gameplay, I got a few runs already including this one.
Unfortunately this is a very poor save where I'm only at early G Rank and while I did import a lot of my equipment, charms etc from my Switch saves, not everything's there yet. But you're gonna see me use weapons I don't use in Sunbreak, at least.
I think this is a good way to vary my content a little bit while waiting for the next Sunbreak update, and I hope you'll enjoy this little throwback.
Also sorry for the horrible "honk" noise my character made when attacking at the beginning of the hunt before the mount, GU is really really nice on PC but there's still some slightly malfunctioning stuff very rarely, and that includes audio sometimes.
That didn't always happen but of course it had to happen on my best run... Hope that didn't bother you too much!

Gosh I love this, it have that oomph that it seems to be missing on Rise sometimes, incredible run looked so clean.
I love how you get to become a human meteor with Aerial style hammer. It's so brutal and hilarious at the same time.
Great run, didn't know hammer could be played like that cuz I was Charge Blade main then. Looks fun.
Also I wanna say how much I miss map structure like that. Something about split zones let them craft those areas to give the illusion of a huge world that we don't get anymore.

Aerial Hammer is so good against Stonefist Hermitaur, it actually kinda makes it a fun fight even!
Kinda brings back memories of Impact Crater in Base rise, really satisfying big aerial attacks constantly, but high risk for high reward.
Aerial really wrecks with Daimyo, I remember destroying stonefist with aerial CB and Aerial GL

If you posted gameplay of a non mh game i would be tempted to play that game bc u make it seem so fun. Also maybe spinning meteor wouldve been an interesting choice for this run

Holy moly this run is pure fun. Is there a meta style for hammer in mhgu or are all of them somewhat close to each other? Thinking of trying guild hammer when I go back to mhgu
Guild is solid, Adept is good, Valor is good, Aerial is matchup-dependant but really good in those. Striker is the only one that really sucks. Oh yeah Alchemy is pretty much exactly guild but you can use 3 Hunter Arts, making Striker even more useless
