- Decent run, save for the ending where i fucked up with the trap but it's fine.
Nightcloak Malfestio is a pretty good Deviant but it always felt like it received the short end of the stick. It barely gives any new moves to Malfestio, and it even uses less ; it doesn't use Malfestio's hypnosis beam as much for example.
It's also quite a missed opportunity to have another cool monster that turns invisible during the fight, but unfortunately Nightcloak only uses this ability for scripted attacks and not much else. Of course Malfestio is only a low threat level monster, so I guess the devs simply didn't want to overtune its Deviant form much to make it a G rank, entry level, Deviant to farm.
This is still a pretty cool monster, and I think it has one of the most beautiful color palettes in the series. It's unfortunate Malfestio and Nightcloak missed Stories 2.

I just find it impressive that you've been maintaining your skill across multiple Monster Hunter games. I went back to play MHGU after spamming RIse/Sunbreak since release and I haven't retained knowledge of anything that isn't Valour GS/HBG XD

One of my biggest issues with MH content is that they always swap out the music for non-MH Osts and it sucks!!!!

I have a lot of videos where I use music other than Monster Hunter's, but it's always music from other games and it must also "fit" whatever I'm hunting, or the locale, etc. Music choice, mixing, and mashups is something I spend a lot of time on for my videos
