I find it hard to believe that I was only 15 when he died. His influence on my world view and sense of humour was so profound. His life left a print on my soul and I am grateful to have been young enough to grow up with the influence of this lovely man.
Frank did a remarkable job keeping it together throughout the interview... but then on that last question, you could see just how shellshocked he really was.
He was a rare breed. A real reason to be proud of America and American ingenuity and vision. He certainly played a huge part in my life and learning how to be a good person and be good to other people.
You can see the grief still evident in Frank's face when asked if he missed Jim. They were a team, brothers in all but blood I would like to guess. Kermit and Fozzie. Ernie and Bert. Jim and Frank. Other Muppeteers now do those characters, but we wouldn't have them, and more, without Jim Henson and Frank Oz. They were especially a team when they did the Swedish Chef. Jim did the head and voice. Frank was the hands. Those two rank among the greatest duos that include Laural and Hardy and Abbott and Costello. Masters of their craft.

So sad. What a terrible loss, but what a great joy Henson gave us that continues today.

Frank Oz is in a world class act himself. He did a lot for me as I was growing up.
Agree 100 %

Jim Henson is someone I really admire and look up to
Frank is one of the group that is truly a class act
Oz is just as prolific as Henson! The respect that Henson had for Oz is a pretty rare thing! An example to live by!
