    Amazing instrument, I’m using mine a lot these days and finding more and more things I like about it. (Barring the effects 😅)

    Have you run it through the ECR-1?

    I really should take mine out of the box one day 😒. I need to retire ASAP!

      You have one? Wow, super cool!

      Cinematic Laboratory I do….I just haven’t used it yet. Sadly I am so busy at work I rarely get a chance to play. Often I just sit down and tinkle on my Access Virus TI when I get the opportunity. Playing with the modular or the GR-1 requires more time and attention, I think. On the plus side, I am planning on semi-retiring this time next year….so I’m looking forward to more time with my gear. I appreciate the videos you upload, as they motivate and encourage me, and I am really looking forward to having more time to engage. Cheers to you!

      Sound Education that’s the plan really…..and I SO want to do that. I plan to semi-retire next year…..I have a pen entire studio of synths, modular gear etc. to explore. Cheers!

    im seeing lots of ambient coming out of this machine, what about more percussivy house-ish stuff?

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  2 года назад +1

      Gear always needs to match the music you love most, so you could use a groove sample and slow it down, speed it up, scratch it like a vinyl / tape and disect it into a spray of percussive beats. But I feel there are better solutions for that in the PC/Mac environment. I never tried it, but this is definitely a cool idea to investigate with the GR-1. Can't promise anything yet!

      @@CinematicLaboratory thanks for the quick response!
      yeah i hear that. im on a quest to build a hardware live setup for minimal/experimental house and a lot of the melodic elements, be it pads, chords or vocal chops are usually whacked out samples or heavily modulated polyohonic patches and im trying to find a tool less used to forge a unique sound. this is a contender i still reckon. just wanted to know if anyone is doing it all ready.
      any way. sorry for the ramble!
      god bless! 🦊🤙

    Love your delving into this amazing machine but far to deep Menu diving/programming for me I’m not Eisenstein/ Boffin enough for this and deffo non DAW capable I like Eurorack Instinct immediate fiddling more dance related vibes, dabble in evolving melodic sonics(Weird) sample for Digitakt
    Superb creation on your part though👍🖐🆒🎶🇬🇧😇😎

    Very cool, great sounds. Have you done any videos with synthesis technology e - 352?

      You mean the Cloud Terrarium? I used to own one but I sold it. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I also got the Spherical WaveTable Navigator which also didn't resonate well with me. I realized I simply don't like the cold clinical sound of wavetables (intellijel shapeshifter is an exception). But the E352 is an amazing design and excellent quality.
