Thank you so much for designing and building such a gorgeously graceful granular instrument which I am continuing to explore and enjoy and your ado here is an excellent recap! 😃👍
Question, about external sync. Can I sync it to one of my synth? My malekko manther has a sequencer, do I do CV 1 and CV2? My audio interface is Board Tascam model 12. D I need to connect it to my board to reach Ableton? Alternative I could use the sequencer from the Keystep or beat step pro but then I would like to sync it to my Analog RytM. any suggestions? Thanks
The GR-1 can MIDI sync. Keystep or beatsteap will work fine. Disable transport CC's in the Arturia MIDI software configuration (like mentioned in the GR-1 manual). Supported audio interfaces are also listed in the manual. Some are tested in-house, most are indicated to work by our customers. Have a peek at our GR-1 support page on our website.
hey, i was just wondering if it is possible to set the GR-1 to midi sync/receive clock and then each timbre to a different midi channel, so that I could use my squarp pyramid to trigger it on 4 different midi-tracks?
Yes, it can do exactly that and exactly for this purpose :) MIDI clock sync works on various granular params like scan and density and of course the LFO's.

Have a look at our GR-1 support section. The older sound packs are there too.

@@TastyChips lovely!
Can you save the 4 bank/voice pitches within a patch? My patches don't remember the different pitches for the 4 voices.
No, these aren't stored in the patch.
I love my gr-1:)
Thank you
