You should def make this an underbarrel to your minigun, even moar rockets
This particular Titan that you use is actually the candid original one from 2004 because of the Nerf logo that’s used briefly from 2003 to 2004, and I really love that particular Nerf logo. Then fast forward 20 years later 2024, the 2004 gets an upgrade to be automatic pumping for faster reloads and the motorized secondary to unleash a wall of foam in lieu of the original Scout’s single shot to make a huge difference. And it’s now the Titan 2004 reborn to be a viable blaster in today’s Nerf battles.
Yeah, I’m gonna add this to the idea list. Thanks captain
Your modding is truly inspirational. Impeccable integration.🤯
Extremely stealthy build I hear 😮
Didn't realize this was a scratch logo titan, cool mod
Colder air is more dense. I suspect a cold battery makes it slower to pump up.
Agreed, it has to be the cold battery.
Yeah I need to make my own version of this
THIS is what the Herja was made for.
The Sage Advice! This is awesome
You sir are a Nerf modding wizard!
Bangarang!
If this can be done for the Titan, imagine what would happen with a self-pumping Magstrike
I did this to a Rapidfire AS-20 using a Cyclami bicycle inflator.
@@DemonanimatorI saw it in the WalcomS7 Discord
Your a fantastic mad man, another amazing blaster
This absolutely amazing
I love this mod. Well done!
this is the coolest thing! makes me wish i still had my titan set
You should make an attachment for it that would shoot 4 demolisher rockets at the same time tut would be super funny 🤣 I don’t know if it would work though
I have one that fires 2. 4 might be asking too much.
BRILLIANT.
That thing has everything.
Can we please get a teardown of the internals of this? A swlf-pumping titan is something I also have dreamed of for ages, and even bought one of those cordless-drill shaped tire pumps in hopes of fusing the inner mechanisms of that with one of the two titans I scrounged off the Internet somewhere, but... I have no idea what I'm doing. So, I was hoping perhaps I could use yours as a rough guide.
That said, having the Herja as a secondary fire mode is a great idea: I neglected to consider that the user would be unarmed between rocket shots... Perhaps swapping the Herja out for an OOD Jupiter on the side, and then connecting that to a proton pack might be a good alternative as well...
On another note, given that you've already done a couple vortex-related teardowns, could you do a vid for one of the Pyragon 40-round drums? It's probably the second-most complicated item in the vortex line, right after the Revonix, which you already did a comprehensive teardown of, and comprehensive stuff on the drum is a bit sketchy at best, and scattered between multiple resources with grainy or missing pictures at worst.
It is really very simple. The pump hose goes to the input stem on the Titan tank. The pressure hose on the tank then goes to the input stem on the Pressure Switch. Battery NEG goes to Pump NEG. Battery POS goes to one Switch lead. The other Switch leads goes to Pump POS.
I've heard that, given how old titans are these days (and other factors), the stock titan tanks aren't necessarily the safest to use for modded purposes. As such, is there any way to swap them out for an XBZ (particularly a metal "spexbz", as I think they're called?), or do those not have the capacity to match the stock tank?
I’m surprised no one has sold an auto pump blaster like this since that marshmallow blaster many years ago. D-Dart almost did but they cancelled it, is there some sort of toy law forbidding it?
I've literally had dreams about this thing! I can't begin to tell you how excited this makes me! I only want to try and to the same to MY air powered blasters now even though it most likely won't be possible. Please do an internals show case!
it would be great if there was a build video of this
Just imagine a full squad of nerfers with 2 of these each
Have you considered using the nerf dog tennis ball launchers for anything? I’d think that they’d make a great blunderbuss because of how wide/unrestricted the barrel is, though you might want to replace the tennis ball holder to be more solid.
Not only have I considered it...I have done it. Not sure I ever made a video on it though...
Meet the nerf soldier
This is so frickin cool, I need to build a dedicated rocket launcher
Feels like you seeing my compressor magstrike 2 years ago may have tickled the fancy.
I put the compressor in EIR in 2013. I put the compressor in TYR in 2017. I feel at least slightly justified in saying I had this idea well before two years ago... ;P
@@CaptainXavier fair. I just see similarities is all. Meant no offense
Oh, none taken, thus the ;p at the end. I certainly wasn't the first person to have the idea. Heck, the Mazooka was a commercial version.
Do you have a link to an example of the pressure switch you're describing, or to how such a thing works? And also a link to the pump? This might be a solution for an idea I'm working on myself.
I’m putting my comment here because one I like your idea to I want a bookmark in case someone replies.
Search Amazon for "car tire pump" and "psi switch."
I prefer not to give direct links to the parts I use because the last time I did that people bought them out of stock and I had to scrap several projects.
@@CaptainXavier thanks for the reasoning I will keep that in mind for the future.
@@CaptainXavier thanks!
Link to the electronic Pump?? I have a distinctly... Mandalorian build that is very similar but will have multiple different outputs than just a Titan rocket(much smaller ammo), so I want to be able to adjust the pressure it pumps to on the fly.
Amazon.com. search for "car tire pump"
Do you have a link for the car pump? Ever since I saw the jurassic pro i’ve been wanting to make it accurate. I don’t know if I could use it in HVZ because of the air powered nature. It is already a one to one replica of the actual rifle. Yes, it would still be firing foam darts.
I do not, no. I got in on Amazon.
If the spare rocket peg is not 100% infill you could just drill a hole in each end to break the seal. (If it is an aircraft drill bit is a cheep long tool that could solve the problem.)
Just curious. Why would the infill matter? You could still drill no matter what, right?
@@chrisboro3145 With 100% infill you would need to drill all the way through. (At less than 100% infill you just need to drill through the wall on both sides to break the seal.)
Is all range footage exclusive to the world foam alliance or just the range days?
Just the community voted on Range Days. There will still be plenty of firing content on this channel.
@@CaptainXavier ok cool. Thank you for the clarification
As a big fan of self pumping I expected a different kind of video.
...you nasty.
maybe build a round lcd display in the old air pressure meter?
To display what, exactly?
@@CaptainXavier Ammo count? PSI? Remaining battery life?Remaining game time? Camera feed from a camera on the back of your helmet? The possibilities are endless.
@@SirBlade666 oooh, a voltmeter there would be nice...
Where did you get that pump?
Amazon
Do you know what pressure your switch is set to shut off at?
Not a clue. I set it for the lowest and then slowly increased it until it worked well. I recommend not getting too greedy or you will blow the seals on the tank.
@@CaptainXavier do you know what the lowest pressure rating of your switch is?
@@ianteare-thomas8604 0.1 Mpa
What psi do you run it at
I have no idea. There is no PSI gauge on it. I did trial and error with the pressure switch until I got a decent result.
@@CaptainXavier ahhh ok noted
Paintjob when?
Never. This one will not be getting painted. I intentionally kept it stock colors.
When it’s not cold and wet, Titan Rockets Range Day 2?
Oh, yes. There will be a mighty Titaning when the sun returns!
@@CaptainXavier Unless your Rocket Squire gets hit by a rogue dart, then they’ll go up like New Year’s at midnight.
Would a mag adapter for the dart zone max out law best possible
Yes. You would need to design a manually opened/closed breach which would rather defeat the whole point, but yes.
