Next idea: Splitstrike Shotgun. Meld the things together, remove the ARs, and BAM! 4 dart shotgun pistol with little performance decrease (with an upgraded spring). Maybe even add a Bigshock on top.

A perfect versatile secondary to go along with my Hyperfire!
If you're interested in making a v2 at any point, you could replace the top elite portion with a coupler that makes it compatible with Eir's attachments, as she already has a three shot attachment (I think?). That way, not only do you have the shotgun/rocket pistol, but you also can preserve the entire stock functionality of the pistol with the smart AR's.
...I now really really wish I had done this...I am clearly off my game...
My shotgun pistol out of this blaster can only shoot three elites. Nothing more, nothing less. I put a blasterparts 9kg longshot spring in it.
I just painted my stryfe so yah and you're welcome for the adapter idea

I found a pretty cool hammershot barrel attachment adapter online and printed it out. Looks pretty cool and it can flip up to acces the cylinder to reload I just need to sand it down enough to actually take a barrel but it was not the highest quality printer but still a good one it just flared out a bit. I also have a 3d printed 7 shot cylinder attached to my hammer shot. My method of attatching the H.B.A. 3.0 is via one of those screw shaf things from a motor that moves a disk tray and rwo tiny plastic gears on either end to prevent from sliding out the hole. A bit of a cludge but it works fairly well.
My hammershot now has a Longshot front gun on the front of it...
Both barrels fire. Now I just need one of those stock adapters for the hammershot like in your carbine so I can attach a Strike and Defend Modulus gun stock upside down and have an absurd tripple barreled hammer action carbine thing.

I could have sworn the Dual strike got really meh reviews when it came out but clearly its capable of far more than anyone gave it credit for. Whats next? Magazine fed? Just stick on the front of a recon theres some dead space sure but considering this thing can hit 300fps singled it shouldnt hurt it too badly and its prob easier and cheaper than fully decking out a longshot.
Try Adding a 25 round drum to the quick 16 as a video or for. I think it would be cool.

You have to edit the video. There are plenty of free video editing programs out there. I just use Window Movie Maker since I don't do fancy effects.

Any mega spring gun can shoot rivals of the ars are take out because they are the same caliber
you can't take out the ARs on this one
Dear capitan a a 1/2 inch coupler with a piece of c p v c superglue together is the easiest spring holder for elite internals in a recon.
U do have to cut the coupler before the ring and then glue inside the c.p.v.c. and depending on the length of the c.p.v.c. is how long a spring u can have.

Could you put the barrel insert into any other mega blasters? Say, could you shoot a singled elite out of a stock hotshock, or would the dart post interfere with it by just shoving that thing in there? What if the dart post was removed?
Dick from the Internet I have a hotshock, and I have removed the ar and the dartpost and built a barrel insert, that is enough to fire elites out of a hotshock, later on I have upgraded the spring, but that isnt necessary
I bought a BarrelStrike for my Modulus, if i take out it's air restricters will it fire all four barrels at once too? (If so i'm doing it plus i'll beef up the spring if i can) i want to turn it into a shotgun..... or remove the barrel/stock piece and turn it into a Derringer/pocket shotgun
I doubt you would ever be able to beef that blaster up enough to fire four.

The "elites" are off brand. I bought them years ago from Amazon so I have no link. The Megas are official Nerf.

Why is it called the quadstrike if it only fires 3 ammo types?
Because it has 4 fire options. 3 Elite, 1 Elite, 1 Mega, 1 Rocket.
I tried to do this without the k26. The rocket fires 2 feet. Does the k26 make that much of a difference?

Well, I covered the spring upgrade in an episode of K26 and other than that all I did was drill out the ARs. The Barrel inset is CPVC with some rubber hose around it to make it seal...that is it really.

How did you make the elites shotgun I tried to take out the ARs and it didn't work on mine so I was wondering if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I drilled out the ARs and then dremeled out the walls between the barrels so the air flows evenly.

Question, do you have a lathe? I was just pondering the other day that CPVC could be a rather ideal setup with a proper reamer to adjust the internal diameter to whatever you want.
I do not, but it is on my wish list. Along with a cnc machine and a multi-ton press.
They're super-fun! You don't actually even need a big metal lathe for plastic stuff. You can even use a wood lathe with care with carbide tools.
How did you make the insert, I've recently picked up a Dual Strike and this looks like a fun and simple mod.
I didn't...I found it in a scrap bin...honestly not sure where it came from...

but if you want the best preformence for that you would have to loose the breech loading
and directly connect it to the barrel. you would also have to cut down the origional barrel sort of

It depends on the blaster. They are all a little different. I will be doing a video on it today...hopefully.

I have yet to find a good use for the tiny scrap parts. I have made some jewelry but for the most part it just gets scrapped.
