I love this watch. For a lot of reasons. But mainly the one you mentioned. While it is marketing, the overal look they wanted to capture really works. I also like that this is one of the few watches in Grand Seiko's elegance collection that has 100m water resistance. Add to that spring drive and a GMT complication. Pretty great.
Beauty of a piece. Hmm...a GMT spring drive. While in Maine had the SRPE05 on wrist for the week. Now back home wearing my latest piece Sinn556iRS some wrist time.
This is lovely! Probably my 2nd favorite dial behind the Snowflake. I'm wearing the SBGP015, which I believe you reviewed, briefly. It's an excellent piece I highly recommend if you haven't already tickled your 9F fancy!
@@Littletreasury Thank you very much. Your video was really helpful.I bought this on a trip to Malaysia and will happily consider buying from you for my future purchases.
Man, I love my Grand Seiko, but seriously design a clasp with on the fly micro adjustment. I live in a sub tropical climate, and my wrist is forever expanding and contracting.
Other companies have significantly thinner GMT auto's. The lugs come off too high and the real lug to lug is about 53mm with that stupid male end link bracelet.

Wearing my daily SBGA413 Sakura with a comfortable suede strap. Loving all these GS watches in the video

You have great taste as always Chad ;)
I watched your video and bought this watch. It is the perfect watch for me❤
Congratulations! I'm glad that our video was helpful, and in the future please think of us for the next purchase!

Preso a dicembre 2023 ❤favoloso in tutte le sue parti 💪Fantastico 😊uno dei miei preferiti 😍
it is nice looking, wish it was titanium.
Wearing a MeisterSinger Primatic with brown Hirsch strap because it's new.
Want to get a GS to the collection because, GS.
SBGE255 is a spectacular looking watch. 👍🏻
It sure is, but different video lol!
Awesome video, couldn’t have asked for more :)
I think you should get the SBGK005, amazing blue dial and versatile design
Great looking watch. Today was a GS Skyflake day. Hope your hands heal soon. Loose the gloves when you can.
Thank you Rob, they should be better mostly by next week I hope! Love the Skyflake. Hope you are doing great!
Wearing the seiko 62mas padi sbdc055 which has everything you need from a Seiko dive watch.
The sbdc055 is great, enjoy it!
You've gotta get that SBGY007 you reviewed here recently! It'll make a dress watch fan out of anyone!!
Good advice, that is a killer piece. It will be on the radar!
Wearing the Toji - SBGE269
I may get this Kanro also
Hi Patrick, I do have the one from the video in stock still, email me at Chris@littletreasury.com if you are interested!
Seiko notes it as a 40.2mm. Your measurements noted 39.3mm is that what you found consistently?
Hi, I've only measured it on this video. You can see how I measure it in the video :)
They should make a dial inspired by the full moon, I think the micro artist would do great
great channel!
great review
Considering the thickness, I really wish these had 100 meter water resistance.
Your wishes were heard, because it does indeed have 100m WR!
@@seanthomez5869 Yep it is 100m water resistant indeed! Many people have wanted this.
it’s not like you’re actually gonna take your watch to those depths. 😅
Get the gmt summer

One day we will see this Sean! The micro adjustable clasp does exist on some Seiko LX and Astron models.
The only thing stopping me buying one..
We'll never see a different bracelet. I think their tooling factory process won't allow for it to happen. Sorry
@@gmshadowtraders - this by far my favorite model - debating whether or not to pull the trigger on this one !
@@AjushiPhotography A beautiful watch, it's in my top few Seiko pieces i'd like to acquire.
I thought this was the sbge227
Next watch: whichever one gets you smile most.
Black gloves are good. One less thing to draw eyes away from the star of the show.
Great advice! The SBGE271 is on my list honestly. Thank you for the feedback on the gloves!
Seiko baby alpinist
Other companies have significantly thinner GMT auto's. The lugs come off too high and the real lug to lug is about 53mm with that stupid male end link bracelet.
The weirdest thing about this one is as you say, the lugs sit too high off the wrist and too high up on the case.
Wearing Sinn556A, just because I wanted to. Can't a 20$ Casio give me the same accuracy as this $6000 Seiko? I mean, give me a break!
Accuracy is only one factor in the big picture of this hobby :)
@@christopheralexopulos1747 You must own this particular timepiece.
@@jeeperspeepers8323 The $20 Casio is MORE accurate than your Sinn 556...so why did you bother?
@@ctimonen But I didn't spend $6000 on the Sinn.
@@jeeperspeepers8323 But you did spend somewhere ~$1-2k, which is 50-100x the price of the Casio. So....why?
