From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Violin Sonata No. 4 of Ludwig van Beethoven in A minor, his Opus 23, was composed in 1801, published in October that year, and dedicated to Count Moritz von Fries. It followed by one year the composition of his first symphony, and was originally meant to be published alongside Violin Sonata No. 5, however it was published on different sized paper, so the opus numbers had to be split. Unlike the three first sonatas, Sonata No. 4 received a favourable reception from critics. It has three movements: Presto Andante scherzoso, più allegretto (in A major) Allegro molto
I mean, sure she has a better understanding than I do to just ignore or re write Beethovens markings.. She is a great soloist and what do i know... But thats not what is written.
Karburax I have the Szerying/ Haebler version and its mesmerizing. But this performance is also wonderful, and the first movement is Beethoven at his most passionate and compelling
Música bella y sublime escrita por el gran músico Beethoven, pero esta esta violinista tiene que cambiar de cara al ejecutar esta música, desde Abancay Perú.

I hand´t heard it with a lot of attention but it completely caught me, unlike the previous violin sonatas that bored me. Thanks for uploading.
Claudio Albornoz this is top shelf music by the greatest of all composers. Just sublime, and a splendid performance
Setting the playback speed to 1.25 brings the whole performance closer to Beethoven's intended tempi for this sonata.
I agree with you.. The choice of tempo is a mistery to me, and the lack of observance to markings... Dots... Why??.

I was just gonna write this 👏
Daniel, you mean, only the first movement or the whole sonata ?

Number 4 and 9 " Kreutzer" are mesmerizing. listen to the henryK Szeryng / Ingrid Haebler version

All Beethoven is great, but this my favourite violin sonata and one of the master's most sublime works. The performance is amazing!
How did you like paying it
La tocan pal pingo. Le falta pasion a los culiao.
Efraín Villa Ricci y a vos te falta insultar menos, lose llegue 1 año tarde
Efraín Villa Ricci callate imbecil
I dont like the first movement. Its too romantic to me, without the right pulse and tempo....
