Why is some of the music speed up?
I think it's because of the copyright issues of Nintendo. They don't want some of their music to be heard.

But the sounds of the game/the game itself are still normal speed. Have just the ingame files been edit?
No doubt it's a bug due to this game being made using an older version of SMBX.
Uploader said on another video it's to avoid copyright claims. It's mostly done with the really recognisable themes as well, like Athletic from SMW/SMB3/Yoshi's Island, whereas remixes and more obscure tracks pass through more or less fine.
