Are you trying to say this is your original stitch idea? Because what you're doing is a linked treble crochet stitch. It's been around for a while and has even been published in some crochet books. And yes the technique is similar to tunisian crochet.
No. Before this I dont know about tunisian crochet until someone commented and that linked treble crochet is new to me. Thank you for adding. I definitely going search that. I learned basic crochet sts only from slip st, SC, Hdc, Dc & treble crochet when I was 14 in the handicraft in our city. But it became my hobby not until 6 yrs ago and learn again self taught by watching videos on particular project and always making project w/o pattern. I have a guide of basic sts. I dont have books of diff sts. Just sharing.
@@lyzawalters4413 i see, u may have more viewers if u add that "linked treble crochet" to your tags or whatever. It's a very good video and ppl wanting more instruction on that stitch might appreciate it. Although, i think you do it with a slight variation. In the linked treble, if i remember correctly, you only pull up yarn from one "bar" per vertical stitch of the previous treble, not two. It's hard to explain, which is why your videos are so helpful
@@P.M.P.181 Thank you very much. Ill do that. I add it to the title also. I searched and it's very similar. I've seen they insert hook into back bar loop and other is inserted the hook in one vertical loop on the front side. Thanks again.

I love this! I never saw it in my Tunisian or Afghan Stitch books. You are a wonderful teacher because of the pace of your crocheting in this video. I'm going to try your technique right now.
Hello, saw your video & was very impressed. I have been doing crochet for 58 years. I tried it & it made crochet faster & a nice pattern. I wish I had known this along time ago. Thanks so much cathleen
I'm on my husband's iPad. This is one of the nicest works of a crochet pattern I've seen in a while. Thank you for showing it in bulky and smaller yarns. Will look forward to trying this out! 🍀
👋🏻 Hello Friend. I just turned 56 and have always wanted to crochet. I taught myself to knit when I was younger but never really did anything with it. I believe I can learn by watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your talents and teaching. ❤️💜💚
So relaxing to watch and such great music. All demonstrated so clearly in chunky yarn, with good camera angle. Loved it so much I'll be looking at more from you. Thank you x
Thank You so much for sharing this tutorial! And I truly appreciate the soft background music. So many times I've tried to watch a tutorial just to end up getting annoyed at the music that is being played. This was so very relaxing and very enjoying and very pretty and easy to follow along. Thanks again!
This is FANTASTIC! I love everything about this tutorial. The yarn and color you chose was very easy for me to see ‘how’ you did the stitch. The speed at which you did is PERFECT and pausing and pointing out each step and the music...very soothing, soft and slow, when learning something new ❤️ Thank you and I’m trying this today! You’re AWESOME! Bless you 🙏
You just gave me the most wonderful idea. My sweaters will be done in half the time! I am using Caron Anniversary yarn bundles. Oh the fabulous patterns the yarn will make. THANK YOU. 😍❤️🇺🇸🌈
What's truly amazing is how straight the edges turn out, in some multi-row double crochet lessons the edges turn out crooked or wavy and need borders. This is perfect! Thanks for the vid.
I have always wanted to try crocheting and ever since this video in have been getting really good at it. I have also make a baby octopus bc of the stack!!! ❤💯😁

I just want to say that your tutorial was fabulous. The music was soothing, you chose to do the pattern in super chunky yarn and not in a small weight yarn so I can see everything and you did it at a perfect speed if I had five thumbs lol 👍👍👍👍👍
❣️ It makes crocheting with a lil fun or should i say not so boring ? 🤭😉 I like it❣️ I will have to try this !!! I have so many projects to do but i REALLY want to TRY... SO... MAYBE somebody will get a blanket made of THIS INSTEAD😊 Thank you so much❣️🌷👏😊🌷❣️
Hi Lyza thank you for sharing this wonderful stitch I found it quite fascinating and can't wait 😊 to try it, I think it would be great for an Afghan or blanket as it appears to make a firmer material and I think would crochet up quite quickly, thanks again all the best from Scotland U.K. Xx
Hello Ms Carol, you are very welcome. That's a great idea. I pretty much like non holey stitches. Thank you very much for your comment. Greetings from USA.
Carol, I agree about using it for an afghan. It would be warm, sturdy and have a lovely textured look. I was thinking the very same thing as you.. Like minds!!!
@@offthehook4u Id like to share some tips. I did try it on scarf. I'm liking the texture of it but the edging is not that neat..Adding a border really helps. And also, work the last stitch tightly in each row to avoid a hole in first st of next row..
