Reed is dying, literally, but I have seen Reed since the old VU. Never saw Lou happier and the band more charged. The Czech Republic and its love for Lou go back to the '60s. Havel the poet/president and freedom fighter said the music was an inspiration for the young people and Prague Spring. Later Lou was honored. It must have been special for him to play this gig. This band loves Lou and is playing their butt off. I love the little Sly medley at the end.

Most performers make a live albums and it is not as good as the studio version.....not Reed, he is always at his best live. Such a great band he always seems to be able to put together with all the different sounds...and none of his songs sound alike as with so many musicians.
