A so different beautiful and wild version of this song of my Youth ...!!! Thanks 🙏 a lot for this present 💝 ! From deep south of France, C.& Chelsea the Dog. 🐉🔬🐲
You know, I never realized how good Lou was until about one year ago when I decided to listen to some of his work and listen to some of his interviews! Even a my age of 77, I'm so gld that I did! Great Entertainer!
Steve Katz. My sentiments exactly Steve. I’m 70 and never paid much attention to Lou Reed until I heard this number about a year ago. Since then I’ve been deep diving all Lou Reed I could find. If Bowie dug him, how can we be wrong?
I'm the same. I didn't really start to listen to Lou until about 3 years ago at 56. I hate it when people say someone is underrated, because they usually aren't. All I know is I underrated Lou.
@@conradmillermd Love See that my grave is kept clean. It's in my set list. There is also a really good version from 2001 that is 7 m 29 s. Jerry Garcia covers that song as well. It's more bluesy. Both are pretty good but I like Lou's versions better.
Same band and similar setlist as I saw in Melbourne at the beautiful Regent Theatre, October 2000. Unfortunately my one and only Lou Reed concert, but by some miracle when calling up for tickets I scored a front row seat! Sweet Jane and Vicious were the crowd-pleasing closers, but the real meat of the concert was the Ecstasy album which was more than fine with me. Lou was always about creating in the present rather than reviving past glories (which is why Songs for Drella felt closer to the Velvets than the reunion).
Es increible lo que me hace sentir este hombre...es una barbaridad lo que me transmite...autentico rock en estado puro...mi querido Viejo...cuanto te hecho de menos...eskerrikasko por todo😍

Great entertainer.? Jerry Lewis was a great entertainer. Lou Reed was legend. He set the pace. Take time to check him out

Lou secretly liked a little more than his infamous 3 chords...despite his ongoing spiel over Wagner & Hunter....

after you've heard lou reed live and rock n roll albums for one live concert in 73, everything else reed does is so lame.
Original melody nowhere to be found. A pity in my opinion.
