- Today I go through my experience from launch day in Marvel Rivals. I thought this looked absolute trash when seeing it in beta but now that I've played it, things are different.

THe unlocked heroes makes total economic sense, something Overwatch eventually realised. If you haven't unlocked the hero you aren't gonna buy the skins.
Totally logical, not sure how other games fail to grasp this, as well if you play more characters, you will have more time to explore the game, and with that more time to get hooked. What if you never played the champ that you liked because it was locked and just left the game
Specially for casual players like me, I don't want to play roles or abilities I don't like for 30 games just to unlock one hero I might like

Honestly, the art style was the reason I tried it, but it's just so ridiculously fun. I won't touch comp/ranked but casually it's straight-up just a good time
Art style is one of the main reason keeping me from trying it, very mobile game like art style including animations, and it looks like it has some kind of color filter making everything look slightly off and bad. That combined with the engine performing poorly and the 3rd person view. Anyway, might still have to try it since it's free.
😂😂😂 I wont touch ranked but its fun. Dude this game is not fun. Go solo que in ranked for 3 games then come back to me. Its full of teyharda and cheaters of all kinds.
2:11 I just found this out myself playing as Star Lord but that Floating Roof isn't a glitch. There are robotic spiders holding up THAT SPECIFIC PIECE of the structure up with webbing. I thought it was glitched out too until I flew up there to see if I could stand on it.

I am maining Cloak and Dagger and playing tanks are actually fun. My favourite hero shooter is Paladins and now this comes along and I don't want to stop playing. It seems like the devs have a passion for this game.
If they can drop a new map and hero every season, instead of this drip feed that OW lazily drops out.. This game will wholly replace OW for me. It almost already has. Hero Brawler is so much more fun than FPSHero shooter imo. Melee ftw!
I wasn’t a fan of it when I first played it, but then I kept at it and now I’m having a pretty good time.
I have been having a blast with it. Really way better than I thought it would be. My daughter plays Jeff and I play Luna, so we are both healers and have team up together.

It’s not garbage. Is it perfect? no. Is it in my opinion fun? Yes.
Now is the time to try it as well before everyone starts caring too much.

I haven't been this excited for a game in years, and I jump onto youtube and see Ragtagg in my feed also talking about it? What a day.
I haven't felt the pull of a game like this since early OW days. Of course, if you're used to OW, you'll pwn the noobs and go like 13-3 and it feels like you're not even trying sometimes. Other times you wanna punch the screen because you can't seem to more fast enough for the chaos haha
Definitely start some Rivals stories please that would be amazing! The game is so much fun and could use your tales
I didn't know how I was going to feel about this game but like normally Ragg does an amazing job at explaining the game and making was to at least get it a go. Glad you're back Ragg can't wait for more amazing content and we will see ya in the streams!! Much love man
Love the studio with the rgb and everything, very slick and professional. The ironing board is the piece de resistance though.

Finally! I had to struggle through the Apex days as I never liked that game but loved your videos. My favourite was the days of poshtagg and toxic coaching and I think rivals looks like a great game

i personally don't think we need a role queue, people just need to learn adapt to play different characters. which is supported by the teamup abilities, requesting a character, missions that require you to use different characters, etc. i once won a match with three strategists, a vanguard, and two duelists. it's whole thing is meant to be crazy team comps and to step out of your comfort zone
1:53 the trick is - turn off all forms of communication. Lets people shout into the void while I continue not giving a shit about what they have to say.

Oh I am so happy you checked this game out! I've played for two days and I love it. Not entirely sure about the role queue, as it can be frustrating, as you said, but I love the differences from Overwatch. Can't wait what else you got in store for us!

Jeff is my favorite thing about this game. He's so great in every single way.
So far, ive found that Starlord, Scarlet Witch and Jeff are the best
Jeff can basically do everything, hides in the ground while being able to wall climb that way, he can heal loads in a sec, his attack does a good amount of damage on hit, his Ult is instant so its ridiculously hard to dodge AND hes adorable 😢

It took me a while to figure out what was the most outstanding item in the background. The awesome RGB lighting display, or the sick-ass foil-embossed Rag-Tagg sign? In the end, I figured it out...the hyper-realistic artwork of an ironing board, leaning against the wall. Fucking amazing!

I didn't expect to like this game as much I have. The slow pace took some time to get used to after apex, but it's been great.
2:15 - not sure if that's a compliment or referencing the top of the building not falling (due to being held up by webs show from mechanical spiders)
Role queue is not needed, but it might be a good idea to require at least one stategist.

I gave it a try litterally two hours ago with one of my friend. It was chaotic a and fun. But so manyyyyy charcaters to learn, it's pretty dense.

I have seen no issues in ranked without anything forcing people to pick specific roles. People want to win, so they make sure the team is balanced in some way. People in Quick Play and vs AI can do whatever.
