Great idea! Do you prefer conduit over a gutter box, or was an outdoor one just not available?
Did you really need to connect to the inverter as a part of the shutdown, or would connecting only to the transmitter be enough to do the shutdown?

The service entrance is at the detached garage. The feed through goes over to the house.
Why did you not use the 12v supply off the sol-ark or the control circuit to the RSS transmitter?
The 12V supply off the solark will not power the new tigo transmitter. The pins 15 and 16 are underpowered by around 500mA.
Even on a 15k?

Yes, the Sol Ark inverter pins do not support the higher energy requirements that the new tigo rsd uses.
