Mate, just a beginner here, and been following you for a while. You gave me the best gift with this video - the belief that I could actually do this! Took me months to get the basic groove down at the right tempo. Now it's decently easy and thought- could I do the entire song? No I can't - yet!!! Been transcribing this myself and was looking at how other people notated that Swiss army triplet fill. Great work dude! Can’t believe your page hasn’t blown up yet, but wish you the best! Love your taste in music and I hope people appreciate the time and effort that goes into these note for note transcriptions. You’re easily my favorite drummer on RUclips.
Only thing I did differently really is those crush rolls in the chorus feel like the main pulse is a 16th note triplet to me instead of the 32nds

Alex this is awesome! I was just thinking about how I'd love to learn one of those Misch/Dayes tracks and you've made such a nice transcription to help me out! Thanks! I gotta say it's interesting that a lot of the sound of Dayes' drumming comes from how he articulates these (relatively) simple beats in a tasty way, combined of course with great gear and production.

how did you find a drumless track to record yourself over? I'm trying to make a drum cover to this but struggling to find a drumless track of the song
Hey dude, I just recorded over the original track! Just dropped it straight into Logic and locked in to make sure there's no flamming with the original drums etc. Hope that helps! Alex
