I was an early adopter of an a750. I really love the card and it's price point.
Not sure if after the shenanigans Intel has been up to that I'll stick with them for graphics.
But, on the other hand, I want to see a competitor succeed so it's not just team red and team green. And I'm sure the Arc department is under different leadership than their CPU counterpart.

I'm impressed with Intel and the fact they didn't give up the constant driver updates sold me on their brand.
I'm going to do battlemage for my next build hopefully it's out by next tax return.

In case you weren't aware. No one says SKU as an acronym. They say it like "Skew".

Intel GPUs don't get enough credit. Firstly, despite their bumpy debut, the refined drivers offered massive performance boosts time and again, so their potential is huge. Secondly, their price to performance ratio is excellent. Last but not least, finally some GPUs that don't look like decepticons.

🗿 if it's unstable this time. I ll throw it out of my windows.
No need to make powerful gpus. Just make it stable. And efficient. Their pricing is the best.
And make a budget option like a 2060 super equivalent for us.

How was the Alchemist a failure? It is better than 4070ti at 4k. Testing won't show the true potential of two silicon pairing that gives you no waiting or queuing where every frame matters. For example more you demand more errors AMD/Nvidia has. At 4k from the ARC you get a good experience from 40FPS. To have adequate experience from 4070ti you need +120FPS at 4k as more than half of the frames are to fill errors. Testing won't show this but at play the stutter is evident. Also ARC is capable of mid and high settings with RT on most applications. XeSS XMX is on bar with DLSS lot better than FSR. When you compare to capped games at 1080p, 1440p and 4k it is evident that you only see half the FPS on counter. It doesn't take in count pairing to CPU. AMD/Nvidia single silicon vs INTEL two silicon architecture. Two different architectures yet judged by same test. I've got the A770 for 4k. Works well. Drivers were good start of 2023 and only got better. $300 for this performance is cheap. Not sure how anyone can say the ARC is bad. Maybe because they haven't used it or are sponsored to say so.
You can expect Battlemage to launch with Arrow Lake. Battlemage will use PCI 5.0 direct lane to CPU for even more powerful pairing. AMD already launched their X870 motherboards with PCI 5.0 and direct lane to CPU. It is obvious they did it now because their 9800X3D seems to be lost. Yet because it is a no show they still had to launch the motherboard in anticipation of Arrow Lake and Z870 boards. At least they beat INTEL motherboards to the bunch in hope to keep higher marketplace.
I wouldn't parrot RGT bullshit. It changes weekly.
Originally I believe it was Xe 56/Xe 64 for the Battlemage. Since I believe it has been changed to Xe2 cores that are 50% more performance. The same now I believe is Xe2 32 /Xe2 40 with 16-24gb memory and bus 256 bit. Wattage 250-275W same as Arrow Lake. Arrow Lake is rated 250W but extreme 295W. So there shouldn't be bottlenecks via PCI 5.0 and Wattage is pretty good indication. Intel Application Optimization (APO). Lets not forget APO that has a promise of 10-50% gain on selected applications and the list is getting bigger as is the supported games for XeSS XMX. If you compare to 5080 predicted Wattage of 400W and we know this is standalone card with only small CPU usage. Then take Battlemage top 275W + Arrow Lake top 295W = 570W. Then note that there is no waiting or queuing. Wattage = Performance as a rule. Both have 256 bus. I think 5080 will loose with a good margin.

I think they did amazing and i will buy a battle mage as soon as i can. i wanted an A770 but i will wait for 2nd gen. 3D Artist here. 16GB on a card that has better rendering then the 2070 and superior creative software support is just great for 300 euro. i dont care about games since i dont have time so software issues are not as likely. I want intel to make graphics cards and nvidia to start cpus. we cant just be stuck between 2 brands forever

INTEL ARC control se de sincroniza y se reinicia a versiónes anteriores siempre se devuelve a la versión del año 2023 y eso me causa problemas en el rendimiento general de la gráfica 😊
