I have found that launching my car in manual mode (M1) with traction control off achieves the best acceleration times. After I shift to second (M2) I quickly shift back over to drive (D) to cancel manual mode and immediately back over to sport (S). I believe sub 7 second 0-60mph times are possible.
Thanks! You can set any speed you want for the beep. With the automatic transmission it is quite easy to go from 80 to 120kph without noticing, so it can be helpful in the everyday driving ;)

I don't believe "D" or "S" mode has anything to do when you are flooring it since basically what "S" does is just hold the RPM higher before shifting. When you are flooring it, the car is using the whole RPM range, thus rendering "S" mode irrelevant.

U should measure speed with GPS or set 110 limit on BC, that would be more accurate. Speedometer usually shows higher speed than actual

Sylwester g put the gear box in S hit - and you will be in first gear M1

You should do it in steptronic mode, i have found that to be much faster
