Thank you for posting this...glad to see the game runs decently at 1080p...I'm currently buying a new mid range pc for my son to play Helldivers with me( I play on ps5) and have been trying- with no luck so far- to find a B580 at retail price...hope I'm able to find one soon...already ordered the remaining parts on Newegg...still waiting to see one in stock...wish me luck!
Alternatively .. 12th gen Intel can be had for dirt cheap now depending on where you live. I run my B580 on a 12600k and its fantastic. AM4 of course gives you access the the x3d CPUs which others have mentioned.
Do you mind testing a few older games like Battlefield 1, the Halo master chief collection, mass effect legendary edition, and fallout 4? I want to know if this card can run those games without issue or if there are extra steps needed to get them to work.
I’m going to test some other stuff first but I’ll add it to list of things to test. I do know that MCC performs very well on Arc. Used to be very problematic but Intel released a driver that got like 500% improvements in some case a while back. I have A750 video on it. Fallout 4 will hit the 60fps cap and unlocked should be fine. BF1 in DX12 stuttered on alchemist so I might check to see if that’s resolved, otherwise DX11 will work fine.
@@IntelArcTesting Thank you very much. i figured it would be fine for the older AAA games. I dont suppose you have space engineers to test as well thats one of the games i play alot and isnt a AAA title, its also a resource heavy physics nightmare so it might be a good test.
Whats crazy is your on ultra 1080p and yet it's barely using more than 7GB VRAM my RX6600 paired with my Ryzen 5600 at 1080p i have settings between medium and some high and a few off and i get abive 70fps but cant use ultra it stutters like hell They really need to put out a performance patch soon but i think this maybe my next card
I’m only getting 33fps while in the ship at 1440p with optimised settings. I have a 7800x3d. I used to get 80fps with my old gpu. I’m not sure what’s going on.
your cpu costs almost twice the gpu, you should try using this budget card with a budget cpu cause new information is saying this card has issues with overhead on budget- lower end cpus - where a budget gpu would more likely be used.
@@iowkey_9339 I’m aware. Had it paired with a 5700X3D and before that a 5600 but my B450 died and didn’t feel like spending a €100 on a new motherboard so I switched to my main system which at the same time made my benchmarking setup a whole lot easier and saves me a lot of time. No need to switch between pc’s constantly and running out of storage less of an issue now. That’s why I’m running this now and not the other. Have sold the other cpu because unlike big channels don’t have luxury to keep everything after upgrading. Money doesn’t grow on trees for me. I’ll be sure to mention the overhead on videos from now on and won’t recommend arc to people with lower end CPU’s.

I used driver version 6252, as I forgot to switch back after testing the A750.

Yo, u can do the same benchmark with a770 with new drivers?
I see you have tested planetside 2 in the past, would you mind testing it again with ARC B580?
Greatly appreciated!
Nice! I'd love to see a test on something like total war warhammer 3. Seen alot of people doing shooters but not many strategy games.😅
I'll see if I own any strategy game, but I dont think so. Not really into them.
I am planning on buying a new GPU and the Arc B580 is on one my list, my question is will this be a perfect pair for my Core i5 11400?
Which budget CPU extracts all the potential of the B580 for gaming and also works with DDR4?? Thank you
5800x3d / 5700x3d / 5600x3d probably
Ryzen 5 7600 or 5700X3D

Can you add results of using xess / fg for 2k results on non competitive titles
This game doesn’t have a upscaler only a resolution scaler based on FSR 1 which looks pretty bad.

Can it run GTA 6?
You need RTX 5000 series, DLSs 10.0 and a shamanistic ritual to run GTA VI.

my A770 16gb like trash compared to this B580
Same here. Too low fps for keyboard/mouse.
the a770 gets around 55 - 61 fps
what r u talking about?
