The most realistic answer would be engagement bait. They want you to actually use and create with their software and some creative people will make something good while they're at it.
Even tho I'm a gen z, I loved being there to hear that line because I hate being part of this shit generation. At least I didn't get infected by brainrot... I swear, sometimes I see what people my age does and I feel like I'm 50... I remember when I was in elementary school and everyone had smartphones and I didn't even asked for one. Someone had the balls to say my mom wasn't cool for not giving me a phone, thinking I wanted one like everyone else, only for me to reply that it was me who didn't even want one because I knew I'd barely use it! I love the faces people gives me when I tell them I don't even have tiktok installed, even less have an account. They look at me as if I was a fucking alien who just landed on earth! This generation is fucking insane in a bad way, stay the fuck away from it if at all possible. (EDIT: sorry for the rant, I originally wanted to give a short, funny comment, but kinda spun out into a sort of vent. Sorry for probably killing the vibe)
