Even gimp, davinci, and Supertux work on windows.
I've been using Linux for 20 years and I agree with the video.
@@dragonballjiujitsu good for you, but not to offend you using Linux for 20 years doesn’t say anything in particular but if you said that you have been using arch or gentoo for 20 years then I can say that great but I could see you would agree with the video if you were using Debian based distros like Ubuntu
Dude expects a FOSS piece of softare developed by individuals to have the same functionality as windows with its billions in sales behind is development. I am ditching windows on the basis that i do not want to be disrespected and spied upon any more. They are not even doign it covertly anymore. They are overtly even asking you how much spying do you want to put up with and this is asked before you even step one foot into the wonderful world of windows. I am certified on windows but even that is not goign to save me. You can go back to being somebodies bit%&. I on the other have now linux on my main every day driver on a 2nd ssd. Sure it has it problems. But at least it does not disrespect me and spy on me the way windows does.
pure Microsoft propaganda

@@cosmicusstardust3300 Do I have to code DLSS 3.5 myself?
Cultist issue...😂
@@lusa3002not a cultist thing, at this point every gamer has to rely on it because games are so unoptimized. DLSS really is a crutch even for powerful systems. FSR does the same thing but its not as good, gamer eyes can see every detail that's wrong using FSR
The longer I watched the video the more BS that spilled out.
Linux isn't for everyone but most of your statements were just plain false
I didn't see anything in the video that was completely false. Please point one out.
yes, even advanced linux users can admit the flaws. we can point out alternatives all we want but that doesn't change the fact that the native windows software is so much less of a headache.
I for one had to ditch linux as a main OS because getting into Music Production requires software like Ableton Live, sure there's alternatives for DAW software but they just simply suck.
@@K1X_7274 Yep, this exactly. And don't even get me started on video editing. Compared to final cut pro every Linux video editor sucks hard. The only thing close is resolve and good luck getting that working correctly.
No need to hear more than th 50 second mark: Linux have alternatives but I need adobe
No sh## sherlock
I brought a knife to a gun fight. I should brought a gun instead bad logic.
Linux is awsome. But for specific uses.
Also gaming? Like saying my mac is a bad gaming machine....
I said at the beginning and end of the video that Linux is a great operating system. If you watch it normally, you will see. And the name of the video is not why you left Linux, but why I left Linux.
Yep. I left windows years ago and only use Linux and MacOS now. Mac for video, photo and audio work and Linux for everything else.

Sooo you have skill issues like the cult people say...😂
@ I mean...maybe. I ran a computer repair shop for over 15 years. I've been using Linux since 2004 and MacOS since 2008 but sure.
TL:DR Im more then 10 years linux user and im not here to bash the author of this video. If you need adobe then you need Windows or Mac period.
Yes there will be people who tell you that you can try to play with proxmox,quemu-virt whatever and gpu pass thru. Its not easy it is not for everybody, and it is a hassle to set properly.
People who need their work done i 99% of cases have no time for this kind of stuff. If a right tool for a job is windows you should definitely use it.
Stability. Noting more stable then debian or red hat. Windows is fairly stable as a system but, nowhere near Linux in my experience. Games? I do not play much and i play in old titles so In my cases games runs as good or better then on windows. Compatibility of software... and we back to square one If you need windows specific software then you need windows specific software.
Ports Are often unstable or non existent at all. Since 2010 i have no random crash on linux nor kernel panic. If you know how to set your system it works flawlessly afterwords. It is hardware or user error
@@kztuptuo7076 I agree with some of what you said, you are right. I don't have time to deal with GPU switching. If you ask about Karnel crashes, it was recently, almost 3-4 months ago or 5-6, I don't remember exactly, my whole system crashed with the update to Arch Linux, yes, just with the update. If you say Arch is not stable, you are right, I know that too, when I switched to Fedora I liked it a lot, I even know that it is more stable than Windows. But then the battery problems started. And of course the indispensable gaming problems, as I mentioned in other comments, I couldn't play the Native Linux game CS:GO despite having an Nvidia Rtx 4050. Redhat is not for daily use, man, it is for System Admin, i.e. servers, and yes you are right, it is more stable than Windows. And many people don't understand, I love Linux too. This video is not about me liking Linux, it is about why I can't use Linux even though I love it. I HATE Windows too
@@bekirov3634 Thank you for the replay. Take care mate :) PS. Sorry for my crappy english.
