    Hi, is the colouring strong? I’ll be adding them to a clear syrup which I add food colouring too, will the colour in the oil effect it much?

    • @CakeDecoratingSchool
      @CakeDecoratingSchool  Год назад

      that depends on the flavor and how much you use. some of the berry flavors naturally have more color to them and might affect the color depending on the hue you are trying to make. Others are clear or have a very light color to them and wouldn't affect things much. I would plan the colors based on the flavor you are using. Like the lemon is a light yellow so using that for syrup that you are going to color yellow, green or orange would work well since it will work with the base color. Hope this helps!

    Buenas noches,me regalaron uno de chocolate y no sé cuánto debería usar para hacer unas mini Donuts,me puedes ayudar

      sine I don't know any details for the recipe your using besides that it's for donuts it's hard for me to suggest an amount. If you are using these as a substitute for an extract then I would start with a 1/4 tsp of flavoring oil per tsp of extract in the recipe. These are more intense than extracts and you will often need less. You can always taste test to make sure it's to your liking and add more if needed.

    I’m wondering, is there a way to create a diluted solution to infuse strawberries with ?

    • @CakeDecoratingSchool
      @CakeDecoratingSchool  Год назад +1

      Most recipes I've seen soak strawberries in Prosecco or vodka to make infused berries. You could use some of these to add extra flavor to whatever alcohol you are using. if you don't want to soak your berries you can always use those tiny little pipettes they sell. hope this helps!

    I have this flavors but they ruined my waterbase products

      I'm not sure what you mean by water base products? I use these for flavoring candy, gummies, marshmallows, buttercreams and cakes. Some of the flavors can even be used for chocolates but you do have to be careful of which ones you use since some of them won't play nicely with chocolate and might cause it to sieze. The manufacturer has a full list of which can be use for work with chocolate if that is what you are doing. They also have more information on these oils and their proper use. Hope this helps.

      Hi! Good question, these oils are designed to be super strong flavorings, and some are made from essential oils. Which means that they do have to be diluted before they are consumed. If you have a recipe that calls for an extract you can use 1/4tsp of flavoring oil for every 1tsp of extract your recipe calls for. They are great for flavoring candy, cakes, buttercreams, custards and a variety of other desserts and come in a wide range of flavors.
