  • Heyyyy,
    Hope you enjoy my video on how to frame a hockey jersey. I won this autographed Doug Gilmour jersey a few months back and finally decided to frame it.
    After inquiring to get it done professionally, I decided to do it myself to save some money! I am really glad I did, as I think it turned out great.
    I hope this video will help you with any of your framing needs and ultimately save you some money!!

    Just bought the same shadow box today at Michael's original price $109.00 and had a 50% off coupon. I would recommend using fabric tape not double sided tape.

    This is a great tutorial! I have a game issued Crosby St Patrick’s Day jersey and it is killing me. It has a shamrock on each shoulder and I can’t get them to lay flat. I’ll try your way now. Also, I wasn’t prepared for how difficult it was to push those pins in. Thanks again!

    Nice job! I appreciate the fact that you thoroughly reviewed every detailed step, and did not skip over like so many other videos on the same subject. This video was also appealing to me as you used the same shadowbox that I just purchased to mount an old tour jacket. I hope to get started on my project soon. I purchased T-head push pins hoping they'll be easier to work with.
    Questions: 1) Did the pin ends go through all layers? If yes, how did you deal with it? 2) Since your project was completed a few months ago, has everything held together since hanging the shadowbox on the wall?

    • @jonathonclaro
      @jonathonclaro  Год назад +2

      Thanks for the kind words! This is exactly why I wanted to create this video, so many creators would skip over small but important steps/details. For question 1: Some pins did go through all the layer, some just stuck into the foam board which worked out as well. I would recommend trying your best to get the pins all the way through each layer to ensure everything stays on tight. To deal with the pins that poked out through the back, I simply bent the ends to keep them flat against the back of the foam board. For question 2: Everything has held together since hanging them up. I actually framed another signed hockey jersey the same way shown in this video and it has also held together so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
