The first mistake is not being subscribed to this channel!
The second is not having great hair like Nate or Scott!
The third is probably dropping a deuce.
Keep up the great work I love this channel!

Number 3 seems to be the most important of the bunch. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣. Thanks for the support and laugh Vincent!

These tips are super useful tips. Thanks so much and keep it up for the great work!
    1. Make sure you're attacking in position. Never trying to hit winners when you're out of position or from behind the baseline.
    2. Stop overplaying your serve to the T on the duece court and exploit your backhand too often. Serve out wide with flat or slice server.
    3. As a returner, get your return and play, back it up and give it some space in order to give yourself a better margin for error and then aim deep middle.

    1. don't hit down the line unless it's a short ball and you can hit an approach shot.
    2. serve wide to open up the court
    3. return deep to the middle
    All good points. Thanks.

Great video. Seems obvious but even the return of serve will make a big difference in ratcheting up the pressure on opponent to serve bigger while removing my frustrating errors going for return winners. Keep the content coming guys :)

All great tips. Always good to reinforce winning basics. These ideas are effective in doubles as well. Love to hit a deep ball and work to get a short ball for me or my partner. Shared with my friends ;-)

I knew 1 and 3, but tip 2 is new to me! Generally, I'm not good enough to serve down the T, so most of my serves go body and wide to forehand.

Good stuff, Nate. Any tips on returning low slice serves? I find that when I come out of my split step, I either overrun the ball or am too tall above the ball

Thanks! Try to cut the slice serve off at an angle and establish your outside foot behind the ball. Abbreviating the swing will help a ton as well. Chipping the slice serve back is a good strategy as well. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Hi Ishv, Sounds like you may have your attention on too many things. Try putting the focus on the ball and anticipate your opponent's shot based on the decision you made and the location of your shot.
