    As usual with the co-op songs, there will be an alternate ending at Dan's channel.

    1:36 It’s the legendary NerdCore stairs! As seen in Stupe’s “The Ribbon” and “No One’s Home” as well as Shwabadi’s “Tired of Being Fine” and Freshly Kanal’s DHMIS vs Truman Show.
    Lovely set stairs, clearly a great place for a camera shoot

      it’s the stairs, legends say that those who venture near become great nerdcore creators
      they say the echos of nerdcore can still be heard to this day

    Stupes and absolute bangers about the evils of capitalism. Name a more iconic duo. I'll wait. Oh, and Dan is featuring too? This is about to be straight fire.

    I feel so bad for Dan, they both are equally important to this and all their previous colabs but stups gets most of the credit. Look at the views on the each others vids

    There's just something about whenever these two lyrical geniuses collab, they just end up making the hottest new jazz single every time... and I know it's jazz because my voice is specifically built for jazz, and only their collab songs are the ones I can really, truely sing along well enough with because, once again, my voice is built for jazz, not rap-
    Either way, this song is immediately being added to my current car travels music playlist

    Another Stups banger, but apparently not for me. If only the whole song was in the intro style...

  • @melecaogaming1567
    @melecaogaming1567 26 дней назад +2

    Honestly, didn't like this song too much. The intro was amazing, and then it fell off REALLY hard imo. Far too preachy and on the nose, I liked when the anti-capitalist themes were more subtle and weaved into the song, not just seven minutes of "modern economy bad", not that I disagree, just, y'know.

    • @whatitdodave
      @whatitdodave  26 дней назад +14

      I get you. It felt like they were just fully embracing the game. If it was just Stupes, they probably would’ve went that direction.
      To be honest, the groove was just too infectious for me to care too much about the lyrics haha.

    • @juliette1374
      @juliette1374 26 дней назад +6

      I don't know about you, but this song has the same level of "preachiness" as "The House Always Win" and "The Fine Print" to me.

    • @melecaogaming1567
      @melecaogaming1567 26 дней назад +1

      @@juliette1374 Yeah, no, absolutely not. House Always Wins had barely any of it , being nearly 100% about , like, the source material. The Fine Print was definitely *closer*, but idk, it felt like it was still in the setting while touching on the subject, not just straight up talking about *modern politics* with zero metaphor or indirectness

    • @juliette1374
      @juliette1374 26 дней назад +3

      @@melecaogaming1567 I could see your argument about The House Always Wins, but The Fine Print is as subtle as brick to a glass window. It, however, feels more... fitting to the setting, let's just say. Doesn't help that the game it's based off is literally about corporate greed.
      I think that's why you don't really feel about this song, not because it's unsubtle, but because this song doesn't really fits with the goofy, silly, eldritch setting of Lethal Company

      I see what you guys mean, but as a person that merely watches my game friends play LC, I feel like my perspective is different. Watching from the outside, the whole "work 'til you die, and then wake up like nothing happened and do it all over again" aspect is pretty freaky...and pretty relatable to real life. You can have the worst day ever, and you're expected to get over it the next and get back to work, plaster on that fake smile, and commit the rest of your life to it. So for me, they honed in on a specific aspect of the game that isn't discussed particularly much (at least among my circles), and ran with it. I guess they had something to say, so eh. Sometimes a game song doesn't have to match the whole vibe, just capture a piece of it. Shame it doesn't resonate with you folks though, hopefully the next one hits just right!
