- Here are some ideas for starting a seraphon army in warhammer age of sigmar and how you could work your way up to a 2000 point game by building and playing 1000 point lists first!

I have to play in a tournament next week where we have to play a 1000 pts game and then a 2000 pts game but the 2000 list should contain all the units of the 1000 pts list, so cumulative list building (I don't know it that's the right way to say it). It could be a video idea to present the possibilities to build these lists. Thank you for the great content you make for us!

I got the Seraphon Vanguard box because I love all the miniatures, and I wanted it for Spearhead. I already had a box of Kroxigor's for a Warcry band, so this is my starting base.
Oldblood on Carnosaur
Saurus Warriors x10
Kroxigor x3
Kroxigor x3
Aggradon Lancers x3
This comes to 850 points, so the Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon at 140 points fits, or maybe a Skink mage to get my units into combat faster.
Me and a buddy are just getting into AoS, i got the seraphon tome and he went hedonites of Slaanesh, so this is very useful thanks!
My wife and I are starting as well, and with the exactly same armies!
Kroak / Slann / Astrolith / 2x10 Skink + Terrain Piece.
Give Slann 2CP per cast trait
6 Cp from SLann, 4 CP from Kroak, 1 Cp from Astro, 1 Cp from terrain piece.
Can turn 1 3 terradon riders / 3 riperdactyls / 10 skinks / whatever.
Can also spam Protection of the Old Ones each turn to have army wide 5++ ward.
Yep, good summoning in 1000 point lists is VERY strong!

Great video! But I must ask - what would be your take on Kroxigor/Warspawned heavy list for 1000 points?
Could you do a Kroxigor list, either warspawned or normal. And could you do a flying list maybe????!
Being battleline in Koatl's Claw helps alot, maybe something like:

- Vengeful Defender

6x Kroxigor (350)
3x Kroxigor (175)

The Carno and big block of Krox get extra move in hero phase. Move again in movement and hopefully make their charges. The other two Krox hold objectives.
Krox heavy lists are going to struggle some since they can't issue commands to themselves. They should be ELITE units so they can issue commands to themselves. Ugh.
But I think Krox will be fairly useful in Coalesced in a big unit paired with Vengeful Defender.... or in Starborne as a deep strike outside of 7" with the Slann's Stave artifact.
For the trog bomb list, I would rather replace the trog and have a starpreist and saurus guard as you’ll get a 30 inch range for your Kroak spell.
But then you really have nothing to hold objectives/enemy lines as I guess you'll want to keep guards near kroak to bodyguard him ?
What do you recommend as a load out for MSU skinks and reinforced skinks? Are there any advantages for one load out over another?

Very nice! Aggradons and Krox head off to war while the Warriors hold the objectives.
Yeah I love playing Kroak but I often participate in small 1000 point games so I need some list ideas for it, thank you for this video

In the coats claw list, could I replace the scar vet by another old blood and a star priest, to have more galletian veterans ?
is the skink on troglodon an actual model? i see it on the GW site out of stock but not at any other retailer
Sadly there is nowhere to buy the bastiladon here in australia with the fangs of sotek list, would you recommend just throwing some hunters of haunchi in there or just some skinks instead? I know you didnt rate the hunters of haunchi high in your tier list but curious on your thoughts
Yeah, I have found Hunters of Haunchi to be great in the current GHB at scoring battle tactics. We have the Seraphon Skink battle tactic that they can do and the Surround and Destroy battle tactic from the GHB (although that one needs to be planned a turn in advance)
This is more for 2000 points, but can the Kroak / Astrolith / Troglodon combo work in Coalesced? Tanky dinosaurs blocking for a potent MW artillery element.
Yep!! Won't do much turn 1. But you can cast spell lore spells with kroak turn 1 (Empower Celestite, earth trembles, mystic shield, and maybe an endless spell) and then move the Troglodon into position for a turn 2 mortal wound fest from Kroak!

Points dropped for ALL of the models in that Aggradon list since I made this video! Aggradons dropped, Warriors dropped, and even the Aggradon hero dropped some points. Woohoo!

I have a question regarding the raptadons.
Why do you use only chargers? I know they are better than the hunters, but aren't you missing that combo between them? Like, in the list of two raptadons isn't worth it taking one hunter and one charger? And in the list of 3 raptadons, 2 chargers and one hunter?
I don't know if I'm missing something, but I think that you can take as many as chargers you want (like 4 units) but at least there has to be one hunter, to gain access to that extra shooting and +1 to hit
I haven't been real impressed with the shooting. Just doesn't do enough damage. I think I prefer the melee punch of the Chargers and then simply use All out Attack for the +1 to hit.
If the Hunters buffed the Chargers in almost ANY other way than the +1 to hit (which we can already get with All out Attack), they would make it into more of my lists.
Still valuable though if you were to go with lots of Raptadons (in maybe a Fangs of Sotek list) were you could get +1 to hit for MULTIPLE Charger units from one Hunter unit.

Might be bad but i like the mix of different units
