    another really helpful video Judy. Thankyou. I look back to my art training years and wish I had had some of this clear explanation then. I've relied too much on 'gut' feeling.

    Thanks Judy great advice and help, it’s always been a mystery to me how and when you marry colours together!

    Really enjoyed this video Judy! I’ve become addicted to your lovely way of teaching and your lessons tend to reinforce the things I already do intuitively and make me notice and understand the reasons that I do those things.
    Ps- I’m still working on the three paintings that I started in your free workshop! Im enjoying using them to try new things. This color lesson may help me to move forward a bit more with them. I’ll share in upbeat artists at some point!! xo

    Judy, thank you for this helpful information! What is the cloth that your paint is on in your palette? Does it help keep your paint wet while your are painting?

    hi judy- this is all great but how do you deal with needing a lot of the color ?this is what i run into...i mix a color that i love (without knowing it ) and then struggle to make more of the same especially on a large canvas.thank you !!

    I don’t understand what “de-saturated” means…it does NOT refer to transparency, correct?

    • @ThePencilRoomOnline
      @ThePencilRoomOnline 2 года назад +2

      Desaturated means less bright or less pure colour in it. If you mix a few other colours into red it will lose it’s bright redness and become dull, muted, neutral - all other ways of saying desaturated :)
