for those people who aren’t ready to do a full cold shower, you can do a cold rinse at the end of your shower instead. doing a cold rinse at the end can still be beneficial for some people.
Good point 👍 easing into it can definitely help. It was miserable at first ngl, but the science doesnt lie! Really interesting findings

The way u promoted self care is something which should be srsly looked on as in this busy life we tend to forget to care of our mental and physical health
All the exercises have lots of great benefits in their own way. I was never a fan of the lower back and glutes exercises but doing them I've noticed I can now sit for much longer periods at a time and still feel comfortable. I think any occupation, dentist being one, where sitting in focused concentration is required, you should look to doing those exercises (dead lifts, squats, hip thrusts, romanian deadlifts, etc...)

Thank you for the words of wisdom. I totally agree on everything you've said! I used to think of working out as a punishment or as a chore that I just needed to get done; thus the inconsistency. But one good thing that the pandemic gave me is the new found appreciation for it. I found a coach that matched the workout I wanted. There is a significant difference in my endurance and stamina from 3 years ago! And what I am able to do now is a source of pride and confidence for me!

During the pandemic I worked from home like 90% of the time. I stopped going to the studio to attend pilates class. I worked longer hours and burned myself out. Did do long up hill walks and some hiking from time to time. Not like I am out of shape, but I feel that I am going through the motions most days. Your video and advice motivates me to go out and exercise more. I like how you mention if you don’t like running, then choose another type of exercise. I hate running. Most ppl I know loves running and want me to participate in local marathons which I will never do. I will stick with what I enjoy. Thanks!

Thank you Dr John, I'm currently on the path for a big change with going to Uni at 28 and joining a gym and building a future for myself. Your tips and mindset is something I will keep in mind going forward, especially the mindset for the gym.
Totally agree with u that it's important to find exercises and ways of dieting that we enjoy and r long term sustainable! Taking care of ourselves is really a lifestyle habit ❤

I can’t wait to see your weekly vlogs. Recently I started pushing myself in my workout. I had to slack off due to health reasons and glad to say I’m back at it and pushing myself harder than ever. If possible I’d love to see meal ideas and snack ideas and any ideas you may have for stress eating as in ways to avoid Or recommendations of what to eat that’s zero weight gain or healthy options. Thank you!

Thank you for this,makes me realize I need to be more kinder to myself and workout with love not shame and disgust of how I look.Weight has been my ongoing struggle and really trying to find what works for me,even when I was slimmer than now,I always saw myself as fat.I started working out continously these past 3 months even joined a weghtloss challenge and tried working out religiously but can't work out a bad diet and doesn't help that I eat what's provided and most of the time not the healthiest meals.I enjoy workouts that are like dancing,but I get sprains because my tendons be lax then recovering takes time😅 It's a journey I am willing to take,but I will also give myself grace and love while doing so.❤ Atleast I'm getting my ginseng daily😊

How about if you don’t have a gym at all I live out in the real area and work in an area that really don’t have a good gym, what’s the solution on by the time I get home it’s like 630 at night I’ll leave at five in the morning to go to work and I’ll not lie. I’m deadbeat when I get home and then I have to take care of my mother who is semi invalid. Do you got anything quick that we could use appreciate it😊
