That so called(photo) of the comet should be classified as Space Art and not photography. It’s nothing more than heavy manipulation of PI or photoshop 👎
I think the whole thing could do with a bit of an overhaul really. Having images from remote observatories competing with people with modest equipment in their back garden isn’t really a fair competition
Nah, it's a really great image of a disconnection event and deserves recognition. And as long as he didn't add features that weren't in the original image, his images are valid. Your perception, the dynamic range of your monitor, there's quite a few degrees of freedom here. All photography is heavy manipulation, there's just no way to map photons to color perception objectively.
