@@Niko-iw1srhe definitely was not getting the most out of that rig. But they convinced him to get an xj rather than putting 37's on her and a rear locker. He'll miss the reliability
@@TheAngryCamper I wish.. lol I just wanted to sew you build that baby out and compete with the jeeps. The money you're spending on the xj you could have lockers and 37's wish you didn't give up on her
@@PopeAstro I hear ya, but the Tundra no matter how much I dump into her is just too long and wide to be able to hit the trails and terrain that I want to hit, it was a fun truck but I have maxed out its limits as far as trail intensity lol soooooooo, I bought an XJ to build , so, stay tuned and thanks for watching!!
I have a first gen 04 Tundra. 33's/35's are about the most that can be done without redesigning/reconstructing the entire suspension. I guess it all boils down to how much money you have to throw at it.
Fake bead locks on wheels entirely too wide for the tire. Looks over function can kill, especially off road, leaving one stranded and depending on the terrain and weather can absolutely end you. Endeavor to do better. This stuff is no joke.
Bead locks are for specific requirements like rock crawling. They aren't needed for backwoods trail rides. Go climb back under your rock. He simply didn't enough air in tires and the bead popped. It can happen to anyone. It's not a life or death scenario. However, they are city turkeys with no real off-road experience, so live and learn I guess.
Had fun watching you guys have fun!
Beautiful video, thank you for sharing.
Great video as always gents. Angry camper it's time for a Cherokee... 😂
That's why my Tundra only goes to the mall. Lol 🤘🏽

@@TheAngryCamper If you are gonna keep on running with the big dogs.

Может когда ни будь я ворвусь к вам и катанем вместе )) Вася, Андрей красавцы .
Time for that Tundra to get some bigger tires.
The Tundra is being retired, I bought an XJ!!
I wanna bring my 2015 nissan xterra pro-4x to come play!!
@@TheAngryCamper Good call! the tundra had the double whammy, small tires and heavy asf. Stoked to see what you build it into!

@@TheAngryCamper Getting the right vehicle to do the right job. Your Tundra is an Overlander rig. You need a rock crawler.
What’s the trail called?
It’s a regular road called. Meadow lake road top of Fordyce Trail
🫶🏻🏆🙏🏼♾️🖖🏼
Not the best representation of a what a Tundra can do. Tundras can easily fit 37's and lockers.
If you want to donate the 37s and/or lockers, I would be forever grateful and promise to give you a shoutout!!

Yup if he was running a 12.5 wide tire on an 8 inch rim he could air down to single digits no problem, bead lock or not
When I bought them, I had no idea I would be wheeling this hard at all, it's pure and simple evolution brother :)
@@TheAngryCamper Your whole rig was so different to begin with than what Vas and his crew have. Built for a different purpose.
