Desmond here. Glad you enjoyed the Granite View Loop.! The GVL is getting more difficult ( in spots) as time goes by, and was expected during the design phase. I inspected ( and repainted arrows) on the loop last week. The " New Sluice" and " UP Chuck " hillclimbs will continue to "improve"! 😉😉 I want to thank all of you that are staying on the trail and virtually no trash found! Thank you all for taking care of this new trail!

It's 1.1 miles to FOTR Area. 19:24 - Little Rubicon Creek crossing. 4WD 24/7 from Australia camped here last summer. 19:58 - Obstacle is called Hower Hole. The steep hill a short ways after is called Trash Can Hill. 21:26 - In the distance, that is a new Wag Bag privacy stop. Set up your wag bag and have some privacy (PACK IN, PACK OUT!) 22:16 - That will buff out! :) 24:49 - Shhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell....haha.

More info on RTF Website. 1:00 - Leaving FOTR Group Area 1:59 - This is the COUNTERCLOCKWISE/CLOCKWISE decision point. Counter is harder! 2:06 - The yellow arrows are to provide assistance to stay on trail. An 8 yr old, Logan shuttled those arrows all day from rig to mount. His nickname now is Arrow Guy. 3:07 - That obstacle is called the Wedge 11:58 - This obstacle is called Up Chuck. It is extremely difficult. (Nice job Vas on 37s) 24:15 - I don't know about the observation spot you mention. We didn't close anything. 25:03 - This section is called Stage Fright. Not hard, just looks cool. Great job!

Considering how cameras do not do justice to steepness, the fact that they looked very steep in the video means some of those angles are horrendous. Great driving skills and great vehicle mods, Thanks for sharing!

Late to the video, however, as I was watching the video I kept wondering why your “weakest link”-the Tundra-was the last in line. . . .

From what I know, could be wrong, from watching Wayalife channel. I remember Eddie saying that the State/FS rebuilt Little Sluice going on 20 years ago now. To make it more passable. His channel had vids of before/after.

This one looks very fun. Might go check it out this weekend.

great video again. the most detail I've seen of the rubicon trail - good job. it seems like a grueling exercise - the Hell hole trail looks like a lot more fun with good camping spots, fishing, and a lot more trees. I guess the rubicon is a true rock crawler's endeavor... I second the great dad comment!!
